Hop on when it spawns next and actually take part, then tell us if its realistic. This will take several spawns, and the average player will not be around for many of those limited spawns, its only around for 30 minutes at a time. The quest reward is also quite useless for everyone below 3100. The gain is less than an elemental shield and equal to  a WW. I see no reason to throw on teleport 230 for something like that, because those with Teleport 230 are the only ones getting kills. There are no in between recipes or conversion recipes, so am I just going to keep this in my bp for a couple years until I reach 3100? Theres no thought put into the quest for non EoC.

 

I just feel that staff are getting disconnected from the game more and more. On a test server with noone hunting it, 3300 is a fair amount but throw in competition in the real game and its a whole new ball game. Not only is it a new titan, it is a seasonal titan, were all hunting it. Not to mention its HP is low, so there arent many hits you can get in before it despawns.

This is what titan hunting was in it's prime it's fun and thrilling if you don't like it too bad this is titan hunting . Simply don't go for the epic then. Don't try to change something that's not broken. Thank you HCS. NO WIN BUTTON HERE SORRY. The only adherent difference is A teleport evens the field for people that are slower and B. Titan doubler speeds it up so you aren't taking 4x the amount of time for the same amount of tkp.

Not saying this will or should happen but I’m going to ask anyways. What would the thought of being able to guild tag the “ bound “ epic you get from the witch? I can only make the low level shield because of my level and I have no need for it but I’d love to tag it for my guild. Not sure this is even something that can be considered but food for thought.. I wouldn’t be profiting on this at all and it could actually be used instead of sitting in my BP never used and most likey dropped and destroyed as I have a + 7 stam gain epic.. please consider it.. if it’s no than it is what it is but thought I’d bring it up anyways

hi grim, can you please tell us where we can keep track of our own contribution towards a titan to know how many kills we did/have?

is there a new feature or under quest book or under titan rewards?

 

I did 28 kills after guild cooldown, where are these personal kills stored/shown?

If the kills are related to the quest, I would imagine it's in your quest book just like any other kill "x" critters quest.....

In four hunts I now have [1394/3375] Gospa Perchta (Titan)s killed. I refuse to use tele 230. That Titan doubler is not working on a titan makes me wonder what its for will it be phased out?

 

Yes I will get both items I think this has been good for activity but will see what happens once the rush stops to complete the quest given enough players it may just last 2 weeks..

 

I also note a lot and I mean lot of very fast hunters have not even started on this yet..

It's an Epic Quest. You're getting an Epic for the quest. It's plenty realistic.

An epic with No tradeable value. is just like the elemental epics back in the day with 500 kills per quest being the requirement..

Except elemental epics are not bound.

 

Also elemental epics were introduced at a time when there was less than 10 stam gain epics in the game, now it is flooded with them.

They are not, no. Nor do they build up, like Guild TKP does.

If they do not have Speed / Computer / Location ...

It is a GAME not a JOB for players.. I agree it is just fine for those who play or are able to be here 8 or more hours a day

I tend to agree with zizz in a sense. It's Christmas time.  Games are supposed to be fun, especially at this time of year.  When it becomes work, time to move along to something that's not.  

 

 

That said, I hope you all enjoy the holiday festivities.  I can assure you that among all the games I play, it's the least pay to play...  Guess I'll go find films to amuse ducky after this is over....

How about next year they make another one. Just the same as this year. Only instead of actually having to hunt it. You just click the button to start the quest. Then you're rewarded the prize and they just give it to you.

Because that's all it sounds like any of you want

No. That's what the quest is for.

It's not impossible but you'll have to work to earn your Bound Epic from the Quest. And as we've said several times, use Quest Hunter for you Quest kills. Titan Doubler is only for Guild TKP.

You want an unbound one for your Guild, hunt it with your Guild.

Spawn rate is fine as it is.

This has been repeatedly explained already. Titan Hunter works for GUILD TKP. Quest Hunter will work for PERSONAL QUEST KILLS.
 

If you want to boost the Quest kill count, use Quest Hunter.

We were told that PARTICIPATION was what you all wanted, not PROFIT. Well, you can all participate now and earn your own bound Epic. Profiting will be done with your Guild.

Still cannot see how "everyone" who wants it can gain 2 items.
Given the time frame.
 
The real issue for these epics is not going to be getting the quest or titan drops but the Super Elite components to make them.

biggrim you misunderstood my whole post, I will try again
 
this whole post will be only about BOUND epics that you can get from personal contribution, the new idea from hoofmaster and you.
 
1) the Gospa Perchta (Titan)
everytime you hunt the Gospa Perchta (Titan) your tkp/kills stay, they do not disappear if you do not secure it, everytime you hit the Gospa Perchta (Titan) you get progress on your quest (3375 kills needed to complete the quest)
there is NO PROBLEM because you can hunt the Gospa Perchta (Titan) many times and everytime your tkp/kills on the quest stay, they do not disappear and after you finish the quest you get a BOUND epic quest item to invent your BOUND epic item
 
there is NO PROBLEM with the Gospa Perchta (Titan)
 
this whole post will be only about BOUND epics that you can get from personal contribution, the new idea from hoofmaster and you.
 
2) all other seasonal titans (mirka, wyld, jolakott, ....)
the problem is with all the other seasonal titans (mirka, wyld, jolakott, ....) because everytime you hunt them and do not secure you lose all tkp/kills because there is not a quest for them to keep track of their tkp/kills, all tkp/kills will disappear
if you get first place without a secure you lose all tkp/kills and do not get a BOUND epic
if you get second place you lose all tkp/kills
if you get third place you lose all tkp/kills
if you get fourth place you lose all tkp/kills
if you get fifth place you lose all tkp/kills
the only way to get a BOUND mirka, wyld, jolakott, .... epic is to secure it because tkp/kills are not saved (there is not a quest for all the other seasonal titans)
 
slow, average and most of the fast hunters will not be able to get a BOUND mirka, wyld, jolakott, .... epic, the majority of the community will not be able to and hoofmasters idea was to allow the community to partake in seasonal titan events and let them get their BOUND epic
 
why did not you add quests for the other seasonal titans (mirka, wyld, jolakott, ....) too like you did with the Gospa Perchta (Titan)?
 
if there is not a quest for the other seasonal titans (mirka, wyld, jolakott, ....) too like you did with the Gospa Perchta (Titan) then the majority will not bother with those BOUND epics because it will be impossible when everytime their tkp/kills reset if they do not secure
 
a mate hunted the same seasonal titan 2 times after guild cooldown to get his BOUND epic, both times he failed to get a secure and everytime he lost all his tkp/kills on the titan, he spent 2 global chests, 1 epic chest, some potions and over 15k stamina for nothing, he is not going to try again
 
 
 
how to fix and allow everyone to have a fighting chance and get a seasonal drop:
like you did with the Gospa Perchta (Titan), add a quest for all the other seasonal titans (mirka, wyld, jolakott, ....) because right now it is impossible for the majority (slow, average and most of the fast hunters) of the community to get a BOUND epic one

yes participation and you can not make profit with a BOUND item because you can not sell or send it to others

Yes you can participate but once your guild goes on cooldown, unless individuals get a secure all kills are lost when a titan dies and its start over again..
