My question would be, would making the likes of the Plagued and Ursa and whatnot instant spawn be a fix? Or would these LES simply be farmed for LE Frags?

All LE has been set to instant spawn so Animal Magnetism would work on them for years see post#7 https://forums.hunte...showtopic=57339

The Animal Magnetism works on LE when I use it on all the past LE events since then. Tried also on the PALADIR FOREST (PLAGUED) and it works

Instead of assuming it would not work, just tried this out you self and find out.

I would rather this change back the days when LE do not instant spawns, but spawn at every XX:X7. It was so much exciting then when collecting LE drops

This is one reason LE events are not as exciting now as in the past

 

Pretty sure that Hoof said something earlier about only triggering DQ's that required multiple LE kills when LE's were actually ACTIVE .

 

Otherwise, just make the existing ones instant respawn - who cares if they're farmed for frags ? - everything else is after all ?

 

Why should they be different ?

 

Heck, if farming is the concern, just lower the drop rate a bit ...

Or there is also option to exclude LE kills as a type of DQ, so instant respawn of LE no needed . This would no really make much difference on the overall ‘Defeat X number of class Y creatures’ type of DQ.

With Fragment stashes from global events and such, there is very much less need in LE fragment farming anyway. I have only seen players offer to farm LE fragments(not buying) in FSBox/ShoutBox from the LE events in the past 6 months or more.

Oddly enough, lower the drop rate does not really help in preventing opportunistic farming. I have not used the skill ‘Lady Luck’, but based on the description the skill work similar as ‘Quest Finder’ and ‘Resource Finder’ skills, so the drop rate is pretty much fixed at re-roll % of ‘Lady Luck’ I would think

[edited: normally farming elites is a complete pain; but given multiple elites, instant respawn and AM working in Varas Dungeon, it was only 20 min and 600 stam for 700 return; I note that Varas Dungeon was mentioned in previous threads for elite DQs]

The trick is to know which elites will instant spawn and on which AM will work.

 

As I recall (I hunt champs there) your hint gives one elite in 25 sqares. Varas has 17 (if I recall BGs info correctly) in about 200 squares, albeit without a simple navigation route.

 

Might be good to compile a list of such good places to hunt for DQs.

Used 853 Stamina killing rats only with AM 460, Cons 345, LL 230, Reck 192, FI 1150 and no other buffs.

Loss of 553 stamina. Not good.
