7 votes for Ayla. If Butters with her 1,5 votes also picks her she will be hung, quartered, burned or whatever the villagers think appropiate. Same if two others vote for her...

What's the time limit before voting ends and the "winner" get lynched, even if they don't have a full 9 votes yet?

Can we abstain? I don't have enough info and like seph said, I'm not going to get it this round.

I'd like to not cast a vote if possible this round unless I absolutely need to. But with Butters being the tie-breaker I shouldn't have to.

No vote at the deadline means you get marked. If a final decision is reached *before* the deadline (through majority of votes) there are no negative consequences for those who did not vote.

Currently Maniaxe, Kayla, PurgatoriX, Chaotix and Butters have not voted.

I actually missed that TomTom voted (well.. technically he didn't: p) - so we are already at 8. One more vote for Ayla and..

If you are marked and miss another vote you will make the Gods very, very angry and they will reduce you to a smoldering heap of (cookie)ashes - IOW: remove you from the game ;)

So, you *can* abstain in a way - but it is risky.

I posted it was day at 12 Oct 2005 15:55 (forum time)
Therefor the deadline expires at 16 Oct 2005 15:55 - about 8 hours from this post.

Also, unless many people yell out in protest I will shorten the next day to *3* reallife days :twisted:

Seeing as fever is running high, will go with the majority for Ayla and the if am wrong will be filled with remorse (for 24 hrs anyway)

Rather late in the evening a decision is finally reached. With a majority vote against her the villagers approach Ayla. Instead of running she just stands there, laughing haughtily and shouting "fools".

A few villagers hesitate.. could they be wrong about her ? But they have to make certain..

10 minutes later it is done. Ayla is gently swinging on a rope hung on a tree with her eyes closed. Due to some vaguely remembered legend she also has an orange in her mouth. A stake was driven through her heart.
Some villagers got carried away and set the tree on fire. Quite obviously, she is dead.
And displaying a distressing lack of turning into vampire dust...

Ayla was innocent.

Some start crying with remorse, but it is too late.

Night falls. Creatures, pm your decisions...

It's currently nighttime, when the vamps pick their next target, the angel decides who to protect, the seer see's stuff, and so on.
