I stuck mine in my bio. Didn't take but a few key strokes. Done, no problem.
Suggestion - Player's Composing Level on Bio

I'll name my reasons as soon as you name your reasons for it's necessity.
So the only argument you can make against this suggestion is... I want my composing level private because it's my business alone? I thought you'd have brought reason(s) to the debate??
Addressing the ladder example, this would give the larger guilds an advantage. So you are battling another level 99 player. It doesn't matter what level composing he or she is since all they need is at least one player at level 60 within the guild. Also, how many players actually play the ladder? This suggestion would benefit a very narrow margin of the the playing community and most likely, half the ladder community probably don't want this info advertised. Again, a non broken part of the game. :/
Having another player who can supply you with composed pots is not equal to or better than a player who can make the pots on their own, can we agree? I'm guessing not.
Knowing the facts of a player's abilities you are facing and who you are interacting with is not important to only Ladder players, but all facets of the game - GvG, PvP, and even PvE. It also tells others about the quality of another players' character. It is info more valuable to the game than other stats currently in bios.
I still see no valid argument against. Is it only opposition to the suggester? If I cured cancer, would you blame me for causing it? I see the same characters chiming in who oppose every single suggestion I've EVER made! So nobody's surprised. Please bring something other than, "this suggestion will hurt feelings' or "it's nobody's business' or 'there are more pressing priorities for development' (so laughable) please.

So let me deconstruct your reasoning here.
Composing level isn't vital like attack/defense/armor/hp/damage and player level
Reason being is composing is optional to be used and if it's used they are spending resources to do it.
When you hit somebody you aren't losing because your composing level is lower than them. Only if they are using composing pots. There are even ways to beat composing in SOME situations without using it.
My reasoning is simple it's not vital therefore it's not necessary. I don't want to see noobs picked on simply because when someone scopes the ladder or bounty board out and goes oh hey look level *insert low level* composing. For those who boost they are really good at pvp this shouldn't matter. Those advocating for this are said pvp veterans so there should be no need other than to pick on weak guilds/players.
I'm sure plenty of guilds don't want all their members composing levels public either.
It's worked like this for almost 2 years now i don't see why it's such an issue now.

I once made the suggestion that it would be cool to see how many Chest a player has opened. By putting the amount in our bios. You said that we have Medals for that.So the only argument you can make against this suggestion is...
I know it's not the same. But the Artisan Medal tells how many Potions a player has Composed.
Can you Not figure out what level they are from that?

You're in a very large guild with tons of resources available to all within the guild. If you or anyone in your guild felt slighted by someone in a small guild with not a single person with level 60 composers, you could hit them with impunity. Also, with your logic of needing to know this info to battle effectively, why not open up their backpack so you know what gear they have? Yeah. Why composing shouldn't be shown. Use your superior knowledge of the game and don't go for the easy button. So the only argument you can make against this suggestion is... I want my composing level private because it's my business alone? I thought you'd have brought reason(s) to the debate??

This suggestion does nothing to improve the game, it only enhances it for those that may want to take advantage of the weaker guilds/players.
I see no valid argument on why this is so necessary.
For the most part, I usually only post when I disagree. I will give a like if i agree/support and I know I've liked a couple posts you've made so don't take it personal ;-p

I'd like this option to be available for the people who want to showoff their composing skills.. like others said, you can put it in your bio aswell, i have it there too.
But would be nice to see on the character page alongside the arena wins and what not.
And i really do not understand the negativity, or the option to 'opt out' of this.
If it is so vital to pvp, it is to some extend ofcourse, but you can scan this down yourself.. just look at all the players their medals, and you can see if people are high lvl composers, or have high lvl composers in their guild or not.. so this makes no difference.
Plus there are traveling composers in the game anyway, so lvl60 composing potions are available for everybody willing to pay for them.

It's not really that vital. It's like sprinkles on ice cream. I can beat people with composing without depending. It's not necessary to know. You better believe i'd take advantage of the ladder bounty board gvg and everything else seeing someone or a guild with low level composing. It will be slaughter. Easy rp/tokens/medals . I just can't see any good coming from this.

Split on what? Any dissent against the idea is based solely on the same argument you are repeatedly spewing, even though you "don't care," that is there are other development priorities. Name another argument against?
My reason: if I want people to know I suck, I'll post it myself. No objections if it optional.

It's probably along the lines of "We'll look into it someday, maybe, I guess"

You'll get an answer on the 12th of Never, at 25.00 hrs
That said, I can see why they won't commit to something now - because as and when they do, we give 'em "you know what" because they promise it and don't deliver it.
There are easy solutions to that tho :-
1. Promise AND Deliver
2. Don't Promise anything
We seem perpetually stuck in the "we'll do something eventually, when we get around to it, if we can be bothered sometime" scenario tho, and that's NOT a good place for a game to be ..

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.
Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?
I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

Lets also show the amount of fsp on hand, so when I'm selling something and someone wants a discount I can see if they deserve one based on an income bracket.
