First reaction to "queuing"... can't see an outright detriment to the game. Appears to up gold-sink. Probably not too keen on an upgrade for this, though I can't really defend that position... just a "thought".

Somewhere in there, there is already an additional pot making already, right?

Like I said, first thoughts.

Detriment to queuing is addicts like me won't be logging in every hour. Less logging in = less interacting/ helping guild mates and less revivng the semi dead global chat.

Composing queues will likely have the same effect that enormous max stam banks have had over the years.

They take away our need to log in frequently. When we have no need, it doesn't feel as important.

So although it perhaps would be of benefit to some, I really don't think it would be good for the game in the long run.

I'm with Hoof on this one, queueing needs to stay off of the table.

Hey Gang.

New updated Content Thread! Here's the run down :

Content.

Feb 10th (Approx) : 1926 - 1950
Feb 24th (Approx) : 1951 - 1975
Mar 10th (Approx) : 1976 - 2000
Mar 24th (Approx) : 2001 - 2025
Apr 07th (Approx) : 2026 - 2050
Apr 21st (Approx) : 2051 - 2075

Additionally, we are looking to add new content at existing levels. This will feature new quests in existing Realms Vs existing creatures.  Most likely starting low and working up. This is most likely to appear as a random new Quest or two periodically. Hopefully, this can make things in the lower levels fresh and interesting.

Events or additions to the game.

Global Events.

We'd like to run more Global Events. These would possibly have lower goals for less powerful potions (instead of increasingly UBER potions) or the proposed Frag Stash Items. No cast iron time frame but once this is on it's way, I'll update this thread.

Chests.

We are working on about a dozen new Potions which we are looking to add to the existing chest that spawn in the world. We are also looking to add the proposed Frag Stash items to this as well as possibly adding new item sets. Once again, no cast iron time frame but once this is on it's way, I'll update this thread.

The Springtime Forest.

The Event shall be returning. We will look into it and see what additions we may add to it. No immediate time frame, but soon as we ain't seen it in ages.

Quango Adventures.

Again, this event will be returning. We'll look to add additional levels of Quango madness. No immediate time frame.

This has been added to the opening post.

Not that I mind you making new quests at the lower lvl, but your wording has me puzzled. "Fresh and interesting" erhm? What am I missing here? We can only have one character in this game, which means that the current content is fresh and interesting for those who play through it... or?

And when you get around to the chests, could you check to see if they are set to spawn in ALL realms at random, and not just those that existed when the chests were introduced?

Apart from that, keep up the spirit

I also wondered why the need to work on lower levels to make them more interesting.

fragment stashes as rewards for the Mini global events would be ace as yes, currently I have too many global potions and am gaining them quicker than I can genuinely use them.

This gets a Davros rating of: :D :D :D :D :D

Existing quests are all explained in detail in the wiki. This is not the case for a new quest that is added. It gives lower level people the chance to be one of the first to go through the quest, and maybe kill that SE or elite at the end of the quest. It is different than doing a quest that thousands have done before you and all the items are for sale in AH.

Will take literally DAYS before there are a zillion guides posting spoilers about new quests.

Always happens.

People are their own worst enemies. lol

Or maybe even their own best friends.

I've always felt that you can choose not to look at guides if  you get your fun from the surprises, but if you get your fun out of planning ahead, then your rather stuck short if no one provides the information for you

I'm sorry Rowbeth but I think you're misunderstanding what I wrote.

In literally days there will be guides telling people exactly what happens in a quest, how to beat it and what to wear.

This isn't providing information that lets people plan ahead, this is 'doing everything except the act' for them.

What you are talking about is different. I used to collect stats for Mistle and Xoulou so they could plan ahead, that's what they enjoyed.

It's not the same as literally holding someone's hand and doing all their thinking for them. <-- This is what I mean by own worst enemy.

Anyway, back on topic...

Liking the idea of having frag stashes as rewards for the 'lesser globals'. That sounds promising.

That I do agree with.  And there are other things not updated on wiki....or the FSG that would be useful information.  Some of that has been talked about on a thread I posted.
