I dont see why it needs changing Hoof.

All updates recently and those planned will affect a range of players in a good way.

Changing the delevelling thing can ONLY affect a certain type of player in a bad way.  OK it will annoy a few, but it doesnt actually make a difference to them playing the game.

Maybe modifying that a touch for the lower levels that do hit higher levels but not for any extra gain it just happens to be where they are at.

I don't honestly think either side will get to an agreement with this. Would something simple like applying a negative modifier to stats if your AL is 'x' levels below a creatures level?

This problem was brought forward for the exploit for GXP. Is that going to be addressed or will it be allowed and we are just going to address the AL and it's bonus?

Hoof , no need to change anything in the game other than the hunting location for these EOC , if it was made that a EOC that delvled himself could not re lvl on a EOC mob this would never happen again , it's because it's easy for the to do take that away and no one will do it !

I think that would work as well - ie. leave the xp the same but apply a modifier to the stats.

That would be fair, the exp gained could work like in reverse to leveling, the futher back you go back say level 100, you go back to a level 98 creature for example, you gain less exp than a 99 creature. I dont know the actual modifier or formula your using but i think the reversed way could work for leveling up above what you should be able to. So level 101 creature you would gain the sub leveling exp as a example.

This I dont agree with.

Allow a player to play how they want, this is what the levellers want, so 10 stam clearers shouldnt be smashed back.

You would hope they wouldn't be smashed back, but people take this deleveling stuff seriously.  I'll be 10 stamming some bounties later and I'll see if I lose some levels, and if so, how many.

The Guild XP you gain is based on the XP you gain from defeating the creature.

i'm always impartial to votes I really do not care about the bollotics of the game, voting on a forum like this, is like voting in real life, what will work for some wont work for others, it's also funny and why I do not come to the forums that everyone has to have an opinion on a subject that's got nothing to do with the topic, hcs, just keep the forum simple, tick yes or no and be on your way, it ceases to be a game when you have to leave a comment for everyone to judge you on, this is pretty simple, ask the question explain in detail and bob your aunty it's our decision by vote, keep it simple because regardless of my thoughts im not coming back to care, what others think.

Not sure about that mate, then why is it the only mob in a level 951 area?

And you should never have to do quests to level, enough of the blasphemy Jedi. :P

just said quests should help push you along ;)

there are like 15 realms at level 951, some with creatures - some without.. each can be traveled too to find the creature that is the same level as you.. no creature should be in a realm that is higher than is level..

i would hope there are no restrictions while traveling around all those level 951 realms to find the creature that is your level (if there are quest restrictions, please verify) otherwise there shouldn't be any subleveling.. just a LOT of walking lol

Why is wanting to gain for GXP an issue?

If the Cows released content in line with the stamina a player who only wants to level will gain, they would gain GXP through that.

Doing this is forced upon EoC players by not having levels to gain in a timely manner.

Honestly I think the best solution to this so called "problem" would be to lock the contributed XP and not allow it to gain more until the VL and AL meet back up.

Honestly Hoof I think you had it cracked the fist time. Allow people to pay (with gold) to lower their level.

This fixes the BB issue.

Make the creatures harder by applying a stat modifier.

This fixes the gain mega levels off a single creep problem.

Do those two things and the issue is sorted.

So for those of you who think that EOC players are doing this because they are bored and don't have content... why are so many doing it now of all times... *cough* xp event *cough*...

Hmm...Maybe I missed the point too.  So are you saying that as long as a person has to move around and not regain their lost xp from just one creature but rather be required to go back through the levels battling creatures that are the same level to which they deleveled, you'd have no problem with it?  In other words if I'm level 1800 and delevel myself to lvl 1400 I should be required to go back to level 1400 and kill creatures in each ensuing level to get back to 1800?  Is that it?

LOL,,Your the man Dale, we can just level, level, level until  we get tired of seeing that one eyed goonie thing I guess.

Of course more are doing it because of a possible XP event, but plenty do it outside of any event.

Also this Poll is actually EoC trying to get their own way whilst Lower level players trying to prevent it. I have no issue in power leveling ect but only thing i disagree on is they shouldnt be able to be in a realm that is higher than their AL.

Make it so that you can't attack a creature higher then your level ( not virtual level).

This way anyone can lose as many levels as they want and the best part is that they are able to gain the lost levels back just the way they gained them in the first place. Come to think of it this will make everyone happy except... the )%&) )&$%)@#& )&$# )#&$) #$)& )&$@% )@#$ $%) !!!!!

Anyone want to run the numbers to find out @ how many levels down from your VL you would have to be for it to cost less stam for folks deleveling you one level than for you regain that level back with the negitive %'s proposed ?

Hence when it would become more viable to goto your AL realm than try to relevel on the VL creep....

Xp events are popular, and if you dont use sacrifice just think of all the gold the PvP`rs can get from 500 levels. Man if this changes they could go BROKE.
