Subscription / Supporter not activating

I've searched, but found nothing on this. I paid for a recurring sub/supporter today, but it's not showing on the website or in-game. Paypal & Hunted Cow both sent email receipts. Does anyone know if a paypal payment has to be manually updated to make the account showing supporter? If it doesn't kick in by the end of the day, I'll be forced to cancel the payment. I've never had a game take a payment and not deliver at least the same day (most are within minutes), particularly when it's a dated 'monthly' 30 day service.

So, not only am I out of 3 days' worth of supporter benefits since no one in support works for 3 days, I tried buying something through Steam. I downloaded the game through Steam, installed, and the Eldevin game login screen popped up. I logged into my HC account and connected. All looked good... purchased a pack through Steam...connected, no pack anywhere. Log out, find when I checked the Steam connection to this account, it shows connected to some bogus account that was created when I clicked play the first time from Steam. Wonderful.

hope you sent a ticket in along with all the information.  posting here is fine but be sure to also send ticket.

 

I"m not sure what if anything went wrong.  first have you clicked on account (top of screen if on front page of site), 

then go to subcriptions which is bottom right where you find different icons, can check orders as well.

 

see if something shows up there.

as to steam.  if for some reason your HC account did not get connected with your steam account they will be able to correct that.   

 

when I purchased the packs when they had the sales some months ago I believe I was logged in game so ofc I didn't see it.

 

I logged out and logged in again.  I think I actually just restarted the game all together and then logged back and then I did receive it.

 

I don't know if I"m understanding your post but you have to be sure  that you linked your HC with the steam account from the HC website in order for you to recieve items from steam and all that.

 

hopefully after the weekend if you send or sent a ticket already you will get replies from HC .  good luck 


Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.

I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.

Thank you for the reply. Regarding the recurring sub, I clicked on orders while logged into the HC website, and it shows no orders, nor active subscription. However, when I made the purchase, I was logged into HC under my account and received an immediate email, confirming the transaction:

 

 

This email is just to inform you that a recurring payment has been setup on your account. If this was not done by you please contact support immediately.

As for steam, I've tried logging in and out of the game and website multiple times. When I log back into the HC website, under account management there's a link to connect different things like Facebook, Steam, and so on. Clicking on Steam brings me to a Steam page, I log in there and click "sign in" and get this

This Steam ID is attached to another Hunted Cow account. Please log out of this Hunted Cow account and login using the Steam button at the bottom of the login page.

It's just too frustrating, and I'm out a lot of money that I've seen nothing for. I can only imagine how many other players that face this and go back to their other, more well-managed games.

It could take some days, but hcs can fix it and your money will not be wasted. If you could be patient :) I would like to find you in game soon!

In cases where it fails to upgrade your account submitting a ticket will get it fixed on their first working day.

Monday you will 100% sure have your supporter and other boosts :)

Just wanted to update that support answered my ticket first thing after they returned. The issue was solved quickly, and it turned out Paypal's connection wasn't working properly. The Steam ID was also fixed. If anyone has issues like mine, best thing to do is submit a support ticket and they'll take care of it. Thanks for the help from everyone.
