I have played hybrid builds in other games such as warpriest and warrior/ranger combos. Other players were mage/assassins and mage/rangers. Generally where the armor crosses 2 classes.
I have always like the warpriest type char. A warpriest (to me) is an off-healer that in generally in melee range with axe/shield, NOT a wand, and pref. not a staff.
If I wear heavy armor here, my healing output is less than useless. Anyway, what I was hoping for was gear (armor and weapons) that had mixed stats. Either cloth armor that included melee stats or heavy armor with sorcery. The same applies for 1h weapons - add some sorcery stats here also.
