Those being.
You may have either :
1 Sig that is 200 pixels high by 500 pixels width.
OR
2 Sigs at 110 pixels high by 500 pixels width each.
Now lets get to the Cnc. lol
Signature would get an 7/10 from me. It has great depth and a very nice feel to it, but I don't like the petals because they seem out of place. The text is also an issue with me, the little banner you have going across the signature kills the flow of the signature.
The avatar on the other hand would get an 8/10 from me. An avatar doesn't have all those little rules that a signature has so you have a lot more freedom when making an avatar. The only thing I don't like that you did is your choice on gradient maps. You made it desaturated and it almost looks purple. I'd like to see the gmaps removed if it's possible.
Text works in the avatar btw.
I say what you most need work on is text and contrast, if you can't decide what text to use and you feel like that the text won't improve whatever you're working on then don't use any. Don't hinder a piece just to get text in!

imo. I think the problem is no one knows how to critique it because it doesn't look like a normal signature... It has no elements that a signature has really.. imo.. looks more like a enlarged avatar in a way.that was not a lot of cnc, either this is so awesome you can't critique anything or it is so bad it isn't worth anyones time... how can i save this thread? I know how about a poll!

I like messing with the sizes on the graphics forum i'm on often lots of people have sigs that are a bit taller like this one, it took me a while to get out of my 400x150 comfort zone, but this keeps me out of a rutimo. Signature:
But as for this version. The extra branches just seem out of place. It it had a dead wooded background, it would work. But with whatever the background is now, it doesn't seem to fit. The lighting is plain and unexciting. The red on the shoulder is alright, but the faint orange effects seem pointless because they don't stand out.
Avatar:
The avatar isn't that great. It just seems flat. In both depth and colour.
