Would it be possible to have an option in the Right Click menu on drops (that no one wants) to destroy the bag. Especially helpful when the fine/rare/heroic portion is taken out of a bag but it still stays special colour...

Good idea Emzor , when killing mobs in one area I find myself sometimes surrounded with 15+ bags that have common items in them that I dont wish to fill my BP with. I can understand the bags need to remain for a certain amount of time to allow people to loot them and I know the bags eventually disappear but if this could be incoorporated that would be appreciated.

I think an even better idea would be to not have these drop at all.

Considering that the vast majority of them aren't even worth salvaging for their vendor sell price, even at low levels, I have to agree. The only thing I made a point of picking up were the Old Boots dropped by the Crimson Macabre in Vestor Fields. One of the few 'trash' drops worth selling.

Unless there's a plan to make these items useful in some way, they don't seem to serve any purpose other than a very weak nod towards verisimilitude. Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually use the Soda Bread and Spring Water drops more than a couple times out of novelty? I can see how they might serve as an introduction to how food works in the game but that's about all.

Might want to keep them for the very low levels, where a few copper actually makes a difference.  Also, as thickenergy mentioned, some drops might be useful as tutorial.

But there's certainly no point to them after level 10, or maybe 5.
