Hi there everyone.

Following feedback from the community, we have made the subsequent changes in this update :

News & Tavern Rumours.

The News sidebar has now been split from the Tavern Rumours. News will continue to appear for game updates, events & important announcements. The new Tavern Updates sidebar will appear whenever a Titan has spawned or been defeated, the PvP Ladder resets or to display achieved medals.

PvP Ladder updates.

With the Ladder, we have made the following changes :

New players are no longer automatically opted in to the Ladder.

The ladder bands at the lower levels have been split into smaller sections. The bands are now as follows :

25-49
50-99
100-149
150-199
200-299
300-399
400-499
500-749
750-999
1000-1499
1500-1999
2000-2499
2500-2999

did you fix the achieved medal time or is it still wrongly showing medals achieved from months ago?

There is still a backlog of medals to be displayed.

Thanks for helping out the new players with the ladder band ranges..

Wondering if the other bands are up for altering? With the 500 level gaps for the higher levels, it doesn't encourage those at the bottom of the band to join in.. With being able to cast buffs like Smashing Hammer, High Guard, Golden Shield, Armor Booster, Shield Wall, etc that's a huge advantage with competing.. Also with gear setups, it seems with those closer to EOC the gear variety isn't that much of a impact but that's a different story other places..

Here's my idea of the bands taking all that into account

1400-1599

We did consider your numbers from the Ladder thread but feel the higher level bands are fine as they are. By that level, the sets available, coupled with the potential of composed potions (which are open to all through leveling composing themselves or through their Guild employing a traveling composer) means that those players have a pretty even chance against each other.

With the new bands.. I think it would dramatically help encourage the community to partake in the ladder if they knew all the rewards possible from the tokens.. From gear to potions.. If more players knew about the ladder chests, I know some would try to see how easy, hard, or fun it would be trying to get enough tokens for one..

Could you compile a list, BigGrim? It would also help with giving suggestions on new crystal gear.. Maybe even tweaks to old ladder gear..

I'd like to see the stats of a level 1000 against a 1499, both with all the bells and whistles to see how they stack up..

1 aspect of the game being the key to the future of all aspects is wrong in my opinion

right now composing has stronger skills than the ladder chests

I order composing pots that cost me only a few fsps rather than join the ladder and lose stamina, gold, xp and time

ladder has become a waste of time after the powerful composing pots release

 

making the ladder rewards even greater is not a good solution, they will become too powerful

Well composing potions are essentially renewable energy... IE they are infinite if you at least participate in every frag global. Anyways love the update...Keep up the good work.

Well composing potions are essentially renewable energy... IE they are infinite if you at least participate in every frag global.

he is right, then we have LE events and we get frags from mobs in realms while hunting

ladder tokens every 24-48 hours

 

with the (almost infinite) frags you can create more potions that give you a longer duration in total than the ladder chests

In this day and age if you don't have access to composing you are unsuccessful in PvP guess you have to adapt...Because frankly i don't think composing will change in anyway. Fortunately i guess you can just pay some travelling composers. Some of them rip you off so be careful. I'll tell you what it's dang hard to do PvP calculations going up against composing. You just gotta swing blind haha. Guess if you don't like it don't PvP. That's what i choose to do at least.

Oh i'm sorry thought it was relevant because this was a thread about PvP ladder. Which i thought tied composing in because it's one of the biggest PvP factors. Overall like the changes to the PvP bands...A lot more fair i'd imagine in the lower ladder.
