It's my belief that epic items should have matching epic artwork. Seeing that the new epics (as well as some old ones) aren't at least animated gives an impression similar to an avi created with a text-slapped random image. It's as if there was little effort poured into creating them. The artwork for Chumanas Set looks better compared to these.

They are called 'Epics' for a reason, so they should be distinguishable from non-epic items.

i hate christmas but i love art..

if the artist is happy and content with these images then that is all that matters.. they shouldn't change it because we think it should be more or different or shinier.. but if they want to come back to them and work more on them, then i'm all for their artistic path.. whichever one they choose..

with that said.. these items aren't epic looking at all.. they remind me of some simple seasonal quest rewards..

Since we are talking about graphics, I would love to see a color light behind all items, a different color for each kind of item.

Common: No light
Rare: Blue light
Unique: Pink light
Legendary: Yellow light
SE: Red light
Epic: Green light

Any news on the type of stats the epics are going to have as far as hourly gains go?

Look in the AH - most have been / are listed in there :)

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

The current iteration of Choker of Time is actually a huge improvement over the original that was released so perhaps the others will get a revisit as well.

Personally, I kinda like the look of choker of time and not sure it belongs on this list.

As for the granny sweater jumper, looks like its following the theme of awful X'mas sweaters which are all the rage in the US  right now, so it seems to fit from that perspective!

But yeah, the artwork for the new epics is definitely underwhelming.
