Whatevers left of this miniature player base are all quitting, especially the players that have been playing for a year or more (aka the ones that pay subscription). Devs need to get the finger out and get the content out. Forget those seasonal events its the same every year so may aswell focus on getting new content out instead.

I know i complain about new content alllll the time but seriously, we need new content because watching a game that i love to play slowly die isn't fun.

I Agree 100%. They need to push out a update. 1 big update and the game will thrive again on top of all of that i noticed that the money people spend on eldevin goes to other games... I understand if the devs have ideas but hey work it into eldevin.

Yea it's been what like a year now that's crazy... but not as crazy knowing that the Eldevin beta started 4 years ago. And still no Auction house either

I just want to finish the story line quests, why make the ending lvl 50 if we cant do them?

If we got lvl50 update i wouldnt even want anymore big updates after that lol. Lvl50 dungeons are already in the game (kinda) and lvl50 items! like wtf!.

Personally, I think it would be a better move to make existing content more relevant by allowing new approaches to it etc.

For starters, finally introduce a XP Blocker (e.g. LotrO has one in their shop) so people can have fun doing content at-level and maximize characters at different intervals. This shouldn't be TOO complicated.

Also, one of the best innovations of Eldevin was Story Mode Instances, for smaller groups and/or solo'ers. Given the small player base and current gaming interests expanding on those might be a good next step. While more work than a XP Blocker it should still be manageable with a small team.

Hopefully, if lvl50 does arrive, these request may stop, because as far as I can remember lvl 50 was intended to be the final level, so any requests for higher levels would be completely pointless.

I think that chance of an xp blocker is zero considering the last update went the complete opposite way and gave more xp for quests etc.

I agree, more instances would be a good idea. If nothing is going to be done to encourage more people to come play this game, it only makes sense to try to keep the players that are already here.

Considering either last year or the year before, it was said that lvl50 was 90% complete, it seems such a waste not to finish the final 10%.

 

As it is now; (I'm sure there are more examples)

There are quests which can't be finished

Achievements that can't be achieved

A profession that can't even be started (scribe)

Lvl 50 jewelry drops from Plasma lord loot that can't be slotted

Greater elemental flakes that can't be used

 

 

Saying that, from the responses, or lack of, by HCS staff when players make threads in the forum, no matter how many of us ask, beg, demand, support etc, it won't make any difference or speed up the chance of an endgame

Granted we get no response from the devs about the content but we still need to show that we want to see this to the end, even if Lvl 50 is the end of all for Eldevin, let us do with the comfort in mind that we were all part of it.

 

Plus if they were to do this, its most likely that the begging for anymore content will calm down because the devs never offered anything after Lvl 50. So in essence, its a win-win for the players and the devs. We get the content we been waiting for and the devs get some peace and quiet from the players.

And if devs release new content then they wont need to bother replying to us anymore, therefore they can focus all the eldevin team to whatever it is they do in that office.
