wow didn't realise barrows goblins dropped light armour also, guess il be grinding some, got the rare thrown weapon in the first post when doing the quests there.

Yet another night of goblins but I did manage to get my first Heroic drop! Though I'm not sure about the spell defense rating it could be a bug I didn't know medium ranged armor came with that stat.
Also got some new boots for trading, would like a ranger piece of similar value. Still need a weapon,boots,chest.

Farmed with Valor for awhile, this is what I managed to snag.
Dagger is just as good as the lv25 Garari Heroic.

Thank you everyone who came with us today to kill Amun's Avatar! Took us ages to take down and plenty of death, blood was spilled but in the end we came out victorious!

It takes hours of farming multiple mobs at once to get rare and heroic gear.
Finally got my first heroic drop after the wipe, and it is not my size 
Bryn - Prophet - lvl 45

How many are you farming at once? I gathered 6-9 together and came away with tons of ears, 4 or so fine junk, 2 rare, and 1 heroic in about 9 hours...

Killed about 200-300 Goblin Looters .. got one level 30 Mage (rare) ring.

its luck Bryn. You got lucky and dragon didn't.
Would be interesting if you get better drop rates with a group or not. taking into effect the quicker kills you would get with a group.

From doing it with a group of 2 and solo I can say I havent seen much of a difference in what you get drop wise.
