I have no pictures to go with this, not sure I ever want to see one because all I can say is that dyslexic people need a keeper and to learn how to proof read things before they mail them.

I reached the age to join AARP ( American Association of Retired Persons)And got the invitation telling me I was old enough and should join.

So I did, sending in 5 years worth of dues.    Now to the oddities of people.

All was going well, when I noticed they had changed the spelling of my first name, ie, flipped the second and third letters in it.

I thought about it for awhile and decided to let it slide figuring that it could be way to foil ID thieves.

Then the first part of this week the second shoe dropped. In a mailing from Hartford Auto Insurance, I noticed they had changed my gender from she to he. Funny, I didn't feel a thing when they did that.

I really had to think about that one, I had not been feeling myself for a few days. I wasn't feeling anyone else either. :P

Then I decided to let that slide too, that will be one massive shocker for anyone that decides to swipe my  ID. LOL

A male pretending to be me? LOL That's funny to me.

I have proof that I'm female, it's right out in front of me, so to speak.

I dunno how it works for older people, but for younger ones, males will get charged a higher rate for auto insurance than females. They've proven themselves (as a group) to be a higher liability risk or something like that. So you might want to keep an eye on what they're charging you.

I watch things like that, but I gave up driving a long time ago. I can walk to everywhere I want to go or catch a bus if it's farther. :)

I did not get that insurance because they wanted to much for it when I was female, now it's more as a male. LOL

Thanks for the word of caution. ;)

For fun.

some public places play this irritating tone to keep that bunch of damn kids from loitering - it's a tone not normally heard by...older...people with a decreased range of hearing frequency - sounds like 25k khz - click the link below the image (and have your speakers turned on)

This hurt me, but to be honest I think this tone is actually much lower than the one they use, because I can usually barely hear it, and this one sliced through my brain. I'm guessing this tone is closer to 17-18k
