It seems like most animals have a decreased aggro range as you level up - some don't seem to aggro at all at a certain point.

Emerald Birds near Mythos still aggro from a fair distance away on my lvl 40. Figured you guys probably wanted aggro range to be similar across mobs so it's probably a bug.

Also, just in general, lots of mobs have different aggro range and rules. For example, the Rabid Plagued in sewer lvl 2 aggro when something next to them is hit, or even through walls (they have epic "friend is being attacked" aggro range). Some other humanoid enemies (can't think of who right now) don't seem to care if their buddy is being killed right in front of them.

I always assumed the different aggro rules were intentional, including the birds.  Interested in seeing what HCS has to say.

Though it is amusing that the plagued seem to care more about friends then most Crimson.

Hate those birds.   Quick to anger, leave bleedy scratches, and aren't even skinnable.

I'm happy to change it as it probably wasn't intentional. A lot of creatures are setup differently and there are no set rules for normal creatures, some may have lower aggro range in low level areas and some assist and some don't.
