To make GvG a little more fair, I would suggest people only being allowed to hit other online players (nobody offline or inactive for more than 6-8 hours).

this can only working if many players in game or 'enough' targets or it will decreasing gvg because not enough targets

sad thing is it very difficult making gvg more fair because

thank you beg2lose for trying increasing activity

in past gvg when guild attacking then defending guild was having high chance winning combats when they buffing members but now when most players seeing player attacking with crazy high composing potions then they not changing setups or buffing members because even if you buffing members with level 175 to help defending it having very small chance against composing potions with crazy high level (KE 400, flinch 450, SH 550, ..)

in past attacker and (offline)defender was on same level with skills, they fighting with buffs 175 against each other, was more fair

now you having crazy high level 'god mode* with composing against (offline)defender who can only getting low level buffs at best from guild or friends for helping little defending

My guild just lost a GvG against a guild in which I had no targets.

My founder had no targets.

Jim has 2 if he does not get called to work but he does not like any form of PvP so that's not really relevant.

Maybe I can keep him in the game, maybe not.

I don't like GvG the way it's run here.  Offline targets, stam gear, no buffs.  Takes a real warrior for that type of conflict.  That's real fighters you know.

Not.....

Yes, I do return fire in GvGs, I get a draw or a win usually.  I don't start it and I don't like it.  I have all the risk I need just playing the game.

It's up to you not to wear stam...log in...buff yourself. It's all part of the game mate :P. Stuff comes up can't win em all!

You really don't get it, do you?

You can't attack dead people contrary to,"The  Walking Dead."

Jim is an air traffic controller, and when they call he goes, because peoples lives depend on him.   He is always on call.

I thought people were trying to get people to stay and play the game, yet I feel they are being driven out of the game.  We all have real world calls on our lives and the game is second to them.

Amazing.

Well I'm in a gvg guild but we don't win them all and even if you are using some composed pots you can miss against someone that is in a suicide set up buffed up good. There's always your 2% and enchaments that can kick in :)

Being GvGed is a good thing. Nuff said :). There is a nice gvg guide somewhere here too that should help.

I can where it irritates some folks who aren't as active and some have fsp or much gold to spend on repairing gear it could get costly but for me it's nothing personal I just like pvp aspect of the game just voluntary ladder and gvg because there is no XP loss

gvg is optional ...

if your guild prefers not to participate then you just do nothing

you take a bit of gear damage and that's that big woop like max 80k gold or something?

however if you feel like earning some easy rp you fight back even a draw gets it done

the playerbase and the type of game just can't handle active combat it's all static nothing dynamic really happens.

approx 85% of the players wear stam gain stuff atm

plenty of people to pick back on eh?

gvg is good the way it is

it really doesn't need more tinkering plenty of rp are being earned every day keep something atleast remotely valuable

GvG is  not optional.  To be optional it needs an opt out option.

If a guild is attacked and lets it go, they tend to be hit every time the cool  down time is over.

Constant GvG has the ability to kill a persons enjoyment of a game, if that happens they tend to go looking for another game.

Damage to the gear of offline players can be quiet expensive, in excess of 100k. This I have seen listed in bios and have experienced it too.

Yes, yes, I have been told about black smith potion. Rah rah whoopeee... Maybe it'll work good, maybe it won't. Flip a coin, take a chance.

However, whatever. .................................

All I hear is I don't like it , protect me.  When are you going to accept you are in control of what happens ,guilds do not like paying to initiate gvg's and losing them the easiest way to stop is learn the game and beat them. Play the Whole game understand it dynamically and you will enjoy all of it..the game is not a series of unrelated segments to pick and choose from.

Why is attacking offline/defenseless players wrong?

There is no reason inactive players should be excluded from GvG. They are being kept around for a benefit (Backpack space for example) so why shouldn't they count against you in a war?

this was my opinion too because offline players can using pvp setup and when they are getting attacking in gvg then guild members can buffing them

I saying #was my opinion# because after composing it is waste buffing offline members who are getting gvg attack by player with crazy high composing potion

in past offline defending player and online attacking player were having battle with skills level 175 vs 175

now offline defending player and online attacking player are having battle with skills level 175 vs max 552 (SH)

this not normal this crazy

this problem not only in gvg but in pvp (ladder, bounty board)

this very sad

Yes there is, gear repair. By all means hit inactive players but allow the GUILD to repair the damaged gear.

Cheers.
