Well....if you can get your hands on Lesser Santork gloves at level 50, may as well keep them on till level 149. Best damage till Cu Sith, no? I'm not a fan of Deep gloves. Non too good on stats, in my opinion.

Also, if one is using Lesser Santork at Lv.120, no need for more that a halfway decent shield with damage as a main stat. At Lv.125, Dark Ethal has good stats to last you. In truth, stats from the Lesser Santork Claws and other items mentioned are enough to not worry about a 'good' shield until Lv.128-130. But, of course, this all depends on the forge and craft of the items.

As for levels 50 to 90. The Deep set can be cut out completely if you reuse the old gear. Take the L. Santork Claws and antlers, mix them with a cheap Gold Cockatrice set(very cheap now and stats are set bonus heavy, so no need to craft or forge them) and throw in some decent damage items and you'll do fine until Lv.90 where you can switch to decay. I'd also like to reiterate that the L. Santork Claws can stay with you until Lv.149.

Sorry bout sloppiness in this post, may clean it up later.

As for what is being said about Santork and what not, its really a matter of grabbing the best gear you can get your hands on.. so your advice is correct, as is mine. I dont think it will matter too much until level 169 when creature stats are a bit harder to beat. This is only to give a guildline for Newbs.. not confuse them..lol.. hope I didnt confuse them

.....Hope I didn't either..... I just love my gloves in my hunting set...*rubs L.Santork...Frack! Claws cut me!... lol

@ Newbies- This guide should work. But as I've said, try and make sure to get FF'ed(five yellow dots) and good to perfect on craft(tells you what craft under the items name in the mouseover) If not, decent buffs should help. (ask a friend or guildie for help on this.)

Well a lot of sets suggested aren't needed.

With max damage structure, if no fillers specified the required damage to make it work is abysmally low:

Level 5: Emissaries
Level 20: Plague
Level 50: Lesser Santork
Level 80: Deep+Darklore+Boots of Almar+At level 92 Armor of Draco
Level 120: Deep+Mancrusha+Rune of Decay
Level 140: Mancrusha+Flaming Baron+Rune of Decay+Gloves of Airilos
Level 150: Flaming Baron+Mancrusha Boots/Armor/Ring+Cu Sith Rune/Choker/Claws
Level 160: Samaels+Cu Sith+Greater Helmet of Light+Ghua Slate Armor (mancrusha till 161 for armor)
Level 175: Samaels+Cu Sith+Banshee Armor/Helm
Level 180: Cu Sith+Cursed Samurai+Banshee Armor/Boots
Level 186 is the end of the 1 hit without DD zone so end of this short guide

There are few levels where light switches can bring survival, but overall with Fury+Berserk, 1-2 level with DC, this is 1 hit all the way.

Levels 140-150 you either gotta choose survival, 1 hit, or expensiver buffs.

On some of the level 140 to 150 levels you need to get DD, SSI isn't needed as you have enough armor but would be nice in case of enhancements kicking in hard.

May I suggest what buffs that are necessary (so low level players don't end up buying the 10+ FSP buy all pack)

A quick and dirty is:

Below 140:
Adept Learner, Librarian, Treasure Hunter, Merchant, Animal Magnetism, Conserve, Doubler

140-186:
Add fury and berserk, with DC on 2-3 levels.

As much as I like your ideas, I only see one flaw in the buff package.. buying Adept Learner at level 175 is a must.. or else you are ripping yourself off from EXP... A AL140 or 150 will not give you the same exp as an AL175

SO.. for best results while hunting at any level.

AL175
LIB175- 225
BM175 before casting potions on yourself.. Brew Master extends the times of your potions
DC, MERCH, TH,

Worse buff and potion in the game.. COUNTER ATTACK..

Counter attack rips off your stamina from the hunt, and could easily be fixed by putting on better gear.

Example.. CA drains xx amount of stamina.. where as, a 2 hit setup only drains just that, 2 stamina.. better off 2 hitting to save stamina then wearing a CA and draining 15 stamina every kill..

EDIT: CA175 is the best buff ever when you are Super Elite hunting and want to solo the super elite..

REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A GUIDE!!!

NOTE: This is what I would use to save money and get through the levels faster without dumping money into a lot of gear. In most of these low levels, 1 item can make up the difference to 1 hit.

Level 5
Gear Available for this level
Infernus Set
Blue spine
Emmesarrys set

Level 10
Ragggandas set

Level 20
Plague set

Level 25
Cobweb + sickle

Level 30
Undead spine set

Level 100
Oglaliths fiery grasp
Gurgriss shield

That's not dumping a lot of money into gear?

OVERKILL. Sickle set, spine sets, and titan items simply aren't needed when common/cheaper items get the job done.

You misunderstand... I didnt say BUY THESE ITEMS.. I said these items are available to the community if they so choose to buy them.. there is plenty of items out there to substitute these you see. as stated before, leveling does not get difficult til you break into the level 170s and 180s.. and this is only a guide not the bible

140's is one of the toughest 10 levels imo. Well unless you have win button titan item.

Keep the guide up!
It's really usefull!
I tested the sets here from 1 to 143 and they work really really well!
Althougth, between lvl 135 and 140, the change isn't necessary...
