So i was thinking about it and there are only 2 goals to achieve in this game

1. Ascended set

2. Max in all professions

Once done , it ends there is nothing other than that.

 

Other than that there are no goals that are there in front of players right now.

Now all you subscribers are going to hate me for this , But i'll still say it and explain why.

 

-Removal of gold cap for all

Being rich is one goal that never ends , players can go crazy about being rich + this is an open market so when open market items like weapons and other sets are added onto the game this would obviously make Boss farming to get loot to get rich as a goal for many players, i mean we all do that don't we?

Right now due to gold cap no one even thinks about getting rich as there is a limit , which obviously affects the mentality of being rich as you have to get gold , be stuck at gold cap and wait for someone to sell ep.

Now by doing this it would obviously mean that  a perk from subscribers is taken away , but they can be given other perks in return!

 

This might not be the right time to implement this but later on it will be usefull for everyone is this is implemented.

 

That is about it, would like to hear opinions from everyone on this including the player and devs.

Prestige Vanity is a goal for some. It is a side goal for me since going for exalted reps, but I will partake in presitge vanity too

The gold cap was a ridiculous concept in the first place. Don't call the game balanced when free players can't have infinite money.

That is a side goal. 

But nothing end game goal, you get your sets and then what..maybe a year u get all the vanity set and then what?

I think it's premature to say what happens after cap.  Cap has not yet been implemented.  I imagine after 50 we'll see raid dungeons (*crosses fingers* with more complex mechanics).  Once we have guilds perhaps guild wars.  More PvP may be on the horizon.  Perhaps more bosses.  A bigger variety of loot allowing more customization.  New talents may be added.

 

The point is, it's very hard to judge endgame until we actually see it.  I just hope we see it before too many people become disillusioned.

 

BTW, as a subscriber I get enough benefits, especially since supporting a small indie company is part of my reason.  Raising or lifting the gold cap will have no influence on my decision when renewal comes up.  But I do understand why the current cap is a problem.

I am not disillusioned.

The cap at 50 for gold will be 1k gold.

Is that enough to perfom in game transactions with other players when all that stuff u said will be added.?

Just think about it. Rely a total game economy on people who only buy ep to sell it to players?

When has that ever succeed and how can it.

The current level 45 equips sell for 400ep+ easy, that's 800g IF YOUR LUCKY enough to have someone selling you ep.

As for fabled sets , am not going for the fabled set because am mostly on shield + essence . And fabled sets are not made for hybrids ( it should be that way to give advantage for pure builds ) . I do it for fun , challenge and maybe the essence .

That's another major flaw, but for currently let's focus on gold cap removal.

Things have to go hand in hand, if your making a bridge u have to make sure, it;s ends and center all 3 are strong if anyone is weak, it is surely going to fall.

Still yet to be seen Account page, Unlock / rewards - lvl 50 account

Collected as many Pet's/ Emote's as you can few unable obtain - founder's limited to 1 per account - Goblin coin flip Tutal's.

Max all proffeestion lvl 50, waiting on lvl 50 cap.

PvP - Rank 10 - many avmnet's take long time gain them.

Leader borad's, Be in top 10 ranking's.

More genral goal's some agree with or not.

I haven't played in about a month. It's not because of the gold cap. There is simply nothing to do. Adding another set of vanity off boss drops that requires another team won't interest me. What would get me to log on again would be: Solo TOC, and Solo Arena modes with glimmering gem drops. Nothing short of that will do at this point.

 

On a side note, I have a firm opinion that set bonuses are crippling the game, making heroic armor obsolete and giving hybrids a distinct disadvantage. I highly suggest the removal of all set bonuses. However, I have absolutely no faith that HC will change anything about this. The game seems to be deadset on forcing 1 gear build on their players, no matter if they like it or not.

As i said things go hand in hand, there are many things to be looked at.

And if one thing is set right with a aspect of it wrong. it just won't work.,. haven't lost hope in HCS yet. just yet

comment on set bonus makes me lol but in reality have 2,3,4 piece sets that improve their set bonus based on amount of pieces u have would make more sense

Supporters have enough perks. To remove it is only logical. Or make it a one time buy removal.

you'll constant want to become rich, keeping you engaged in the game.

When solo content and doable good equips are added, you'll want to grind to get those and sell them for a good price.

And you'd be stuck until someone sells you ep?

You will just rely on the people who buy ep to sell.

free market should also have no limit of in game currency you can earn.

tbh, i don't even care now.

The more i suggest stuff, the more stupid people pop up with there expertise on a "mmo".
It's hcs choice, 50 players or 5k players.
