So, by your logic, murder should be ok because even though the law says not to, other people have done it? Please think for a second. She clearly states in the first post that she is only accepting orders on Friday and orders placed on any other day will be denied/ignored. If you chose to ignore Gorn's specifications on when orders should be done, and then proceed to claim that you've done nothing wrong, I can only hope that she, in turn, ignores you. As to your second point, you've done nothing that others have not done, but I fall back on the maxim that two wrongs do not make a right. Clearly her schedule does not permit her to accept requests all week long and has asked to limit yourself to a maximum of 2 orders on one particular day of the week. Inundating the shop with orders on days other than that which she has specified is simply inviting others to do the same. I would have thought that you, who has been around at least as long as I have, would have been able to understand that.

You're right, Frog, I have been around a long time. That doesn't mean I'm a perfect person. That doesn't mean I don't make mistakes. I screwed up on the days but not intentionally. My reply was partly sarcasm and partly because it felt like you were singling me out. Thank you for being such a perfect example to society by never ever making a mistake on the forums. Thank you for being the forum police by telling people they can't/shouldn't do something and by pointing out their mistakes.

 

 

There are restaurants only open certain days of the week, which often take advance reservations.

And people often stand outside a closed shop waiting to be first in line when the store opens. (i.e. Black Friday, new game release, etc.)

By your logic, those people are no better than murderers. Wow!

 

Considering this is Gorn's thread, I will leave it up to them if they would like to accept/ignore my request for their Friday skills.
My mistake was on posting on a wrong day (reservations are obviously a big no no) and I will have no hard feelings if my post is refused by Gorn.
If Gorn would like to me to remove my request, I will.
