imho, beginning to look like a wishlist.

so my wish is for chest item selection box be enlarged. my device showed a small selection window without ability to see/select from all items.

It's that way on a PC too, hon.... And when I only had a phone, 9 times out of 10 I would end up selecting a potion when all I wanted to do was look at it, I stopped using them after a while, and when I bought my laptop I had about 30 global chests to choose from.

 

 

Back on track though:

Sorry we stoled your thread acti, but yeah, I'm don't think this is a good idea, and I tend to agree with Tilley.... Does this mean the sky is falling?

 

Also, wonder what the cows will think about it...

I believe this has been asked for in global a couple of times.... the answer has always been no.

You can cast saved quick buffs, but it's a bit complicated and takes several steps to get to the quick buff options page.  This could be better streamlined.  

I do like that I can add or subtract buffs from a quick setup on the app, whereas on the browser I have to delete a package and start over to modify one.

the problem is not a chance to attack 5+ relics. it is the ability to hit the same relic many times in a short period of time.

the old way still would have same problem, just form many groups.

what about a delay between attacks on same relic by same guild?

There has never really been any delay outside of the time it takes to fill a group.  In an active guild, this time period is still a matter of minutes at the most to fill a new group when the first attempt fails.   This is only gonna happen if a relic is properly defended anyway.  An under-defended relic won't take all 5 groups to be taken.

 

The way I see it, if you value your relics, you defend them properly.  I.E Man the relic.  This means everybody should be on the relic in a proper offline kit (this does not mean epics, people, it means a defensive setup).  So, if it takes 5 (or 10 if somebody upgraded) tries for somebody to steal it, that's 5 (or 10) Defender of the Realm medal ticks.  Seems to me if they need to use all those groups only to fail, it means the defending guild is doing something right.  Isn't that a good thing?  And does it really matter that they had the convenience of not having to make a new group for every single try?

You are right....  you can make a group there (you can't on the "new" map on a mobile browser) but you have to return to the regular map to use it....   

 

Maybe these type of things should be adapted to better serve mobile users in a browser, as many still can't or won't use apps on their phones.... 

 

I know, this has little to do with the app itself, but there are still people that use Windows phones, or have little or no space to install any kind of app on their phones (I didn't when I had one of those free government issue phones, for example). 

 

 And there are still things that must be done in a browser as well, regardless of one's preferences or operating system....

 

Since the app is designed for better gameplay for mobile users, shouldn't these things also be something to be considered?

since you used FB as a login, you will need to contact support to link your Email address to your account.   Only HCS staff can change/add the email for you.  They will ask for some documentation to prove that you are the rightful owner of both the FB and Email accounts.  When I had to change my email address a few years back, I just took a pic of my driver's licence and uploaded it to my ticket.  Support is at the top of each page, and also the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of each page.  There's also a support button in the app under the Help tab.

Some reach top by cheating while some others reach top by using greedy dirty tactics in the game economy. That's the biggest challenge for the new players at the lower levels.

It's a big challenge for veteran players that remember what the words "fair play" and "sportsmanship" mean too.  For some reason, players such as this think since it's the internet, they can behave as foolishly or as dastardly as they please, that manners and etiquette do not apply to them....  The concept of "multiplayer" game goes right over their heads, and they play like they are the only one here.... It's sad, but all we can do is continue to do our best to keep positive values alive and hope that game developers try to keep these negative elements in check.

True enough. But why waver having taken a decisive stance that the player base was happy with. Appropriate action was taken against those that purposefully manipulated a game bug to their own benefit. Now they are fine to continue as they were? With their ill gotten gains in tact?

 

So disappointing to see. Integrity gone. Such a shame.

I know of one person that was given a heavy suspension, I imagine that any others that have been allowed to return also suffered the same type of punishment.  But I also know of at least 2 that were denied their appeals to reinstate their accounts.  Pretty sure the most serious cases are gone forever, but who am I to speculate?  The cows judge these matters on a case by case basis.....  

 

I'm more or less in agreement with the general population that cheaters should always just be shown the door and handed their walking papers.  We don't need their kind around here.....

Happy to see that our suggestions/observations make a difference :)

1. AM (animal magmatism) seems to not work on the app. Got a lvl 288 on and not a single creatures respawned at the same location he was slain. Eg 6 creatures on the tile, killed all 6 , none respawned there again. Did a kill 675 DQ, and it didn't happen once.
2. Footprints, can you make the color a bit brighter or add an option to switch to the orange dots like on pc ? It's hard to see the current ones on darker maps , like the blue in Varas dungeon for ex.

to make AM work on the app, you have to "drag" the action list down a bit and release, similar to refreshing your mobile browser....   I rather preferred the original way when the app was in landscape mode, with a little "refresh" icon next to my little sword....  Food for thought, team
