Hi there Everyone.

We are pleased to announce the start of our 96 hour special event which sees the return of the Zorgrom and Shroud Legions!!

From now until 16:00 GMT on Friday the eighth of March, we will be spawning 16 Legendary creatures and 2 Global creatures.

The Global Quest will require the entire community to work together to defeat the Zorgrom and Shroud common foot soldiers. To qualify for the Bronze level reward, you'll need to defeat at least 1,000 of the common Zorgrom and Shroud Foot soldiers.

The following Legendary creatures are running rampage in the world!

Burzzthak the Exalted (Legendary) - Level 15+
Zorgrom Bulltoise (Legendary) - Level 115+
Shroud Saurodon (Legendary) - Level 225+
Zorgrom War Lobber (Legendary) - Level 340+
Shroud Watcher Ballista (Legendary) - Level 415+
Zorgrom War Wolf Rider (Legendary) - Level 535+
Shroud Horror Horse (Legendary) - Level 665+
Zorgrom Ogre Axe Thrower (Legendary) - Level 770+
Shroud Grotesque (Legendary) - Level 845+
Zorgrom Shock Trooper (Legendary) - Level 915+
Shroud Heavy Infantry (Legendary) - Level 1025+
Zorgrom War Wyvern (Legendary) - Level 1120+
Shroud Wreathed Drake (Legendary) - Level 1210+
Revered Luz Tagoz (Legendary) - Level 1350+
Shroud Shadow Blade (Legendary) - Level 1500+
Zorgrom Back Stabba (Legendary) - Level 1650+

As well as the loot available from the Legendary creatures, the following new chest is the reward for completing the global kill quota :

Zorgrom Stash

For each tier that a player completes, the reward will increase as follows:

Bronze:1 x Zorgrom Stash
Silver:2 x Zorgrom Stash
Gold:4 x Zorgrom Stash
Crystal:6 x Zorgrom Stash
Ruby:10 x Zorgrom Stash
If you qualified and the Community reachs the total goal, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends.

They are in the Realms.
They spawn in every Realm that is 10 by 10 or bigger.

nice event! will have to wait and see what the 1650 set is. But the 1500 set is helm/glove attack damage 8)

i hope the Global Quest isn't reduced like all the other Global Events..if anything, why don't the Legendarys count towards it? they are all apart of the evil Shadow army

For those who are going to say it was 8x8: BigGrim counts the edges of a map too, so for him every map is 2 lines and 2 columns wider. :wink:

In other news, we've just tweaked the code on the New Map so that Legendary creatures can now be killed with the keyboard short cuts, same as on the classic map.

Nope. The deal with this event is balancing the requirements for the reward and the resources need for the LE sets.

If all the players in the Top 100 get the minimum that they did the first time this event occurred, they'l smash the community total.

We're a bit spoiled by the later global events, methinks. All of the other events' rewards are much better than this one.

Are you sure you want that to be the case with the level 1650 LE as well?

Because that would mean only 48 players are of a high enough level to get to this LE (me included by the way).
I think it's better if more players can reach it so these items won't be owned by just a handful of players who then can dictate their prices.

In my opinion having the LE spawn in maps of level 1600+ or 1575+ would be better in the interest of the whole FS community.
That means 139 or 158 players can reach the maps where the LE is on. :wink:

The rewards are the same as the first time this event came out.

However, the amount of kills needed is nowhere near the same. 4 times as many kills just for the basic reward. The rewards for global events after that first one all got better (maybe too good, for sure but...) as the requirements went up. Now you have the weakest reward with the highest requirement.

I have not been using all my stamina lately but see no need to waste it for these rewards regardless. Perhaps if the reward were not bound and I could give it to a guild mate, I'd reconsider but that is not going to happen, I know (maybe bound to a guild?).

Upgrade the reward to a more normal global reward or downgrade the individual requirement to what it was when this event first came out - 250 total to qualify. My $.02

The spawn rate is terrible... I think it needs to be adjusted a bit.
