Can we revisit smasher ticks for normal pvp

This thread went from a constructive story with strong arguments to an absolute train wreck with no substance or purpose. I applaud Moon with such creativity, needs to be recognized.

I would highly encourage the admins to weigh in on the original post with the original intent. Should be considered as it may liven up a few areas of the game that are lacking (Bounty Board, random hits, hitting for medal, prestige hits, etc). Otherwise, lock this thread as it is not productive to FS or the original poster.

I had mentioned to Grim in a ticket I had open to check in on this thread and weigh in...only thing he weighed in on was the opt out post he made. 

 

And thank you for appreciating my sense of humor, it was deemed necessary to approach this subject in that manner based on years of hearing a collective groan from the levelers when one of us old school pvpers make suggestions. And as this thread goes on it seems that my approach opened the door to a decent conversation about pvp. 

 

Any time levelers and pvpers can get together and negotiate an aspect that affects both types of players and come to an agreement on what aspects each side likes and wants to see implemented, its a step in the right direction.

 

And of course little trolls always want to be noticed as well and weigh in on topics that they make clear in their arguments that they know little to nothing about. To that point I treat them as if in game and just simply ignore them as the ramblings of a small child mad because their peanut butter fort was destroyed or something along those lines.

 

And as for Grim, I'd love to see him come in and clean this thread up and make his comments on the topic itself. Beyond that I feel we've come to a good agreement on both sides as to what we wish to see.

 

Thank you to those that kept this thread on topic and for all the great suggestions and tweaks made as this thread took its course.

so after all the rubbish in thread i think we have come up with

 

    normal 100 stam hits count towards medal (every 3 days )

 

     whatever  stam we use  that is the  amount of prest we get

 

 

 if this is the case then hell i can live with that

instead of muddying the waters of this thread, which I still see as a good idea, maybe you should start your own to see who shares your views (or not)

 

SnowMan, sorry I allowed myself to get sidetracked.....  I still think this is a capital idea that can bring much good to the game.

  • normal 100 stam hits provide a tick towards Smasher medal. Only applies once in every 3 day period like PvP Prestige.
  • The amount of Prestige you receive for a PvP win should equate to stam used. So a 100 stam hit that wins should get 100 Prestige.
  • Prestige should also be given to a succesful defense using the mechanics of no. 2
  • The introduction of a PvP themed Global Event.
  • Increase the level ranges for PvP attacks.
