Does that even work it seems to go after every one during a titan is out i keep hitting it when i have no script..

but i'm not really going that fast? i'm going the normal speed but i still some how set it off.. 

 

is it possible for HCS to secretly give people a warning so "IF"   some one really did have a script they would be getting the warning instead of the normal  people...

I'd really just want to know what its actually doing, other than slowing everyone down across the board. Haven't seen or heard of anyone getting the hammer from it, and i know everyone hunting is setting it off multiple times. Hate to be negative about it, but its gets fairly annoying.

I do not script either and am plagued with this inconvenience...its not programmed properly... They just overwrote the speed limit thing and changed the note you get when you hit it i think...Because if you haven't realized it the speed limit message doesn't exist anymore...It is not actually detecting scripts its just detecting how fast you are going that's it and slowing you down. Which is far from detecting if you are scripting. If you are able to move fast without scripting you SHOULD NOT be slowed down that's just outrageous. It really disrupts your rhythm while hunting...

Today's endeavor ~ 500 kills and 142 script detection

 

My last 2 hunt totals come out to 2000 kills and 258 script detection's(From when i started counting)

0 messages from any staff member of HCS, 0 suspensions or bans

Figured me triggering this would come with some sort of acknowledgement that i am triggering it...

 

I triggered the detection 13% of my kills(so far), but even that is inaccurate considering there are multiple spawns per location so really that number is quite inaccurate. To my belief this detection it really does nothing, other that annoy you beyond belief. While stopping you walking and often glitching you a few spaces, then when you try to move you get the "You cannot move more than 1 square at a time" message and then it glitches you another square or two.

 

Take it out of the game already, take it out until you can put something that actually works in...

I set it of like 50% last night while hunting Boteroth and i was going slow as a snail. Please take this feature off until you guys can fix it up for good. It is really annoying atm, unless fixed properly, and slows me down even more. Almost thought of giving up titan hunting for good.

lol when i was hunting kraken  a while ago i probably bumped into at-least 12 Script Detect per 1K kill

 

does get annoying even though i have no script and as bane said i have no received a message from HCS about the script detection

It doesn't detect scripts like I've been saying i know exactly what they did to shut people up... Its so obvious and in your face. In my opinion it needs to go because it serves no real purpose other than hindering people who play by the rules.

There's more than just greasemonkey. For a long time I used something called scriptish - FSH worked with it - a player here in the game wrote it and there were less problems with it than greasemonkey (ran faster, less errors). Now as I'm using Chrome usually, I use Tampermonkey. I assume there are many other Extensions out there that people use.

As to annoyance with the timer or whatever it is on the titan map, why be upset with it? It affects everyone, so then we all cope with it, thus it's fair. The annoyance of it can sort of help keep you awake during a mind-numbing titan hunt - sort of like tripping.

Usually those warning only happens when I'm changing tabs, checking Scout Tower, Facebook, Guild Chat, etc...While I have the World Map on my screen I doesn't get the message very often. And that's the problem, when the titan move far away on the map that's the time to check chat and/or Scout Tower, and I keep getting this warning while doing this.

The srcipt can be improved, but it's better than nothing.

yep happens to me i change songs while hunting i go to spotify and come back to hunt to see the warning which annoys me

I think this happens when Packet loss occurs in your connection (laggy connection) game codes reading your movement before the server which why it will show that error ...

 

I'm not 100% sure neither i have any idea about these stuff but i read and analyzied by myself it seems logical analyzing though if thats right then im genius /

"Script Detection"

 

As i have said just in that shot time frame i was able to trigger it so many times, its broken.. Script detection would raise a red flag, would it not? So me raising that red flag that many times accounts for nothing? So we have something in place that doesn't work as it was intended to. Im not scripting, but setting it off like i did i should have gotten some warning or a "hey we are looking into this", as raising a red flag would do. And the main purpose of this is to reduce scripting... cheating, but if its doing nothing what is the point of it? Its the equivalent of doing a 2 hour bounty with your target having deflect. 

 

And sorry to say its not effecting everyone equally

It would be funny but it wouldn't... it would show how ineffective it is... but i would be banned for doing nothing

The scripting system is in place to stop cheating. It will not be removed.
