Possibilities for  a New Seasons Event 

 

tried to post as many options as i could think of 

 

this is manly a poll to find out what is wanted 

 

all the choices are muti-choice so more than 1 option can be picked

Hi matt2269f, would you mind to explain what is a Season Event and some aspects of the poll, for example, level brackets?

 

I really like the idea of opt-in/out, anyways.

Seasons was an event they had either last yr or the yr before / it pitted players against one another and they climbed in rating 

 

there was some flaws in the beginning but most got worked out but before they did get it worked out a lot of players got away from it 

 

as it was -there was no xp lost from combats just gold /auto bounties got posted funded from gold that was stolen - the main things i myself didnt care for was the open range of levels doing combat 

 

for example a lvl 300 player could go up against a lvl 2000

I think this is at least premature, if even needed at all since hoof said he will be going through the other (quite substantial) thread after the holidays.

the problem with the other posted topic is it just ran around in circles with limited addressing of what was wanted and when ideas got put out they just got stomped into the ground 

 

i am not really wanting this to be so much a debate posting but a poll of what is wanted and what is not

I voted Don't know/Don't care. If there is an opt out I'm fine with whatever.

This topic, if even needed at this point, really should be written and started by a neutral party, like an HCS employee. With details about the past seasons event and what is actually being suggested. Not everyone bothers to read topics like the one with the actual debate going on.

For example... Where is the 'no opt out ' option? Myself and others care more about a pvp event being authentic pvp then we do about stripping xp off participants.

What do you consider ' authentic pvp ' ?

 

The No Opt out  did not need to be included as it has already been stated by hcs 'there will no event where players will be 'forced' into playing'

First, not sure where you got that quote but it wasn't said by me.

Authentic pvp is the way it actually works in the game, not this non existent thing people keep pushing for.

The fact you don't see the difference between no opt out and xp loss is why you shouldn't be the one starting a poll on something still being discussed.

Grim also suggested a lowered xp loss for this. Nothing is set in stone. Hoof has said he wants to read over the topic. I have faith he'll see the issues and adjust accordingly.
Or at least I believe he needs to be given the time he asked for without 20 more of the same topic.
