I was talking about Eldevin and what the rested exp is primarily for, not other games.
Well as it now, it's completely useless. The time I spend running to an inn, I could just kill 3 more mobs and gain just as much exp as rested would have gave me.
And the argument it's for people that go away on "Vacation" etc... doesn't make sense. Why would I pay for a month of supporter just to get rested exp while I'm on vacation? I could just buy exp pots instead when I get back...
It's basically meant for players who are going to be away, or are very casual. It's not meant as a "daily booster".
Acctually for most games, it's so casual players won't get so far behind. EVERY game I've played with rested exp has given at least 10% over an 8 hour period (typical sleep).
Marre, If you read this post, you would see that I was asked by cowboy the creator of this game to post the differences in levels. Thank you though for your concern. At level 24 Alchemy there are 3 levels in difference between Alchemy and Foraging while using "Gathering Booster" and NOT using "Crafting Booster". The calculations are wrong for these skills. It is not complaining, it is an attempt to fix what is wrong with the calculations just as we did during beta testing. Even with Eldevin Point "Gathering Booster" potions which I DO have to pay for with my Eldevin Points the difference is still 3 levels behind Alchemy and will probably be more like 4 or 5 levels by the time I reach Level 24 Foraging.
THIS IS INTENDED!!! That way you are forced to buy components from newer players while you are gathering higher level components. If they leveled the same, there would be no reason to buy from other players.....
