ebay USP sales?

Rather than selling Ears and offering a free USP, what would the Forum think if I sold say 12 USP's (2 x 6-pack) on ebay and offered a free Ear with each USP?

100% of profits to be blown on salty snacks or donated to WWF adopt a Polar Bear campaign :P

I voted no, because whether the funds are going to a polar bear charity or not, and whether you are selling the USPs as the main thing with a free ear as opposed to the ear with the free USP, you are still trying to sell an in-game item for RL cash, and considering recently people got in trouble for doing that on this forum with Raider Rings, I don't like the idea - it's too much of a double standard - either everyone is allowed to sell items for cash, or no one can.

That's why I though it better to ask first... as far as I know it's legal to sell any Gothador item on ebay :?

At least this vote saves me the trouble of setting up 2 auctions, pushing them on this Forum, arranging the trade with the winners, paying the ebay and paypal costs -- more money for salty snacks :D

...now I'm not saying the 6 people who voted 'no' are 'evil', I'm just saying:-

1) They are happy that fossil fuels are burnt to produce the electricity needed to run their computers.

2) They know that the burning of fossil fuels directly contributes to the greenhouse effect.

3) They know that the greenhouse effect is causing the slow erosion of the polar ice cap; restricting the amount of suitable habitat sufficient to sustain a viable Polar bear population.

Now again, I'm not saying these people are 'evil', I'm just saying that knowing these 3 things, you have to wonder why they would actively go out of their way to vote 'no'. I guess a 'love' of bears might be seen as 'a bit odd' but there are at least 6 people on this Forum who have a much deeper and darker problem than I <zing!>

P.s.
Nothing personal, everyone has the right to express their own point of view -- it's just that I don't post as much these days and wanted to see if I still had it :D
