What makes you think mages dont work that way? :)

:roll: it's pretty blatantly obvious. I'd have not thought you were that blind.

To be successful in PvP, warriors have to invest in ATK, HPs, DMG and AC.

To be successful in PvP, mages have to invest in DEF, and HP.

That is not even taking into consideration the fact that mages power comes not from levelling up like warriors needed to level DMG, but from wisdom which is wholly separate and really not that much of a challenge to level if you do it properly.

You are so very right. Wisdom is not a challenge and if I level hp and def I will be so good at pvp. Its probably even easy to d oboth at once.

WARRIORS DONT STAND A CHANCE!

MAGES CAN LEVEL ONLY DEF AND NEVER DIE!

I was blind as you say to not see that after putting 2.5k levels in def, not all warriors of half my level can kill me... :lol:

Val hun ya forgetting mp!

I use 1500mp per cast at the mo, god knows what sniper uses. With crappy mp we cant hit shite. warriors however can keep on swinging.

As for ac, why? the bonuses from HP are far greater than what you get for AC surely those points are better stuck into HP?

The whole argument comes down to one thing. A mage is gonna have to take a few cast even with an anti- res to kill a warrior, a warrior needs 1 true strike. Ok so mages have had to start leveling hp. Why do you think that is? its so we can compete, with out it we end up smears on blades

Once you stop using wisdom and start using "wisdom", you can se problems with Vals eyes ;):P

Ginge hun, HPs only help so much though - you need the AC to compliment it because that way, there are chances that you can diminish the dmg as much as possible. And yeah, there are mages that have as much HPs as me unvialed as I do vialed, so it depends on how you look at it ;)

We can use AC but DEF is about like adornments on male hogs, useless.

So you complain about defense being ovepowered for us and useless for you... But we only use it because we dont have access to full hp and AC :)

And yes, we can use AC... Skalla has designed the undoubtedly crappiest mage in the game to prove it...
we only get 25% of our AC and you get 125%, and defense is always the same for both subclasses... how can def be unfair and AC fair??? And yes I know its the combos with other stats...

Mages die one hit on a random hit and warriors die on several randomly high hits... In the end, it works out for the warrirors. I am willing to back up my statements but only get AC and DEF crap here :P

Oooh and nice achievement Wega btw :P

I met Zwysk in Braskin today and died on retal before I could kill him (200ish/2000ish/20000ish damage against 98% and 8k hps), either on True strike or 2% (I was on a yellow spore, he was obviously unvialed, he can kill me with both his hands in his trousers on same vial/unvialed).
Not saying he shouldnt kill me... merely mentioning with my stats multiplied by a vial, I still died somehow easily :)

Lets make a model mage and warrior and perform a model combat since we cant agree? What I dont like about the examples I read here is mages are vialed and warriors not :)
