#988153 Double XP Incoming!

Posted by Egami on 09 December 2017 - 17:10

So, here's the reality up to Hoof's post:

In favor of changing the announced 2XP start date: 9 posts.

Against changing the announced 2XP start date: 13 posts.

Please note, that I did NOT bother to take note of the idea to change the delivery date on the Xmas offer.

So, what's clear from these posts is that the start date, according to posts here, should NOT be changed.

Further, I have ONLY taken note of petitions for or against here in this thread PRIOR to hoof's post. A lot of us have info both for and against from FS players.

In any case, I don't think the opinion of 22 players total (note there are more that didn't specifically state their opinion on the start date and that I leaned towards giving leeway to those voting for the change because of the delivery date) is at all representative of a community that has around 300 players online.

Obviously, I already made my game decision based on an official homepage announcement.

I would suggest that there are currently 126 posts. Very many of those are repeats from peeps like myself and Grim and one from Hoof.

This thread does NOT hit even 33% of the online FS game community.

So it stands to reason that the FS Community is NOT participating in this discussion. Up to this post, 13 against changing the date and 9 in favor.

It's another question entirely on the delivery date. I gave my opinion on that already and could "mostly" care less.

The point is that a date change on the start date (and I have to admit, I'd go further since it was officially announced to roll for 4 days starting on December 15) will screw over... how much of the FS population?

Don't really know, but can say that 67% of the ONLINE

Cow has given away pots all year either by Globals or anniv/Holidays so I`m surprised that the debate could even be over pots as i have tons of them. As for the event, Cow does not even have to give one and splitting up one is ridiculous. Everyone that has played this game for any length of time knows appx. when the XP events start and this excuse of saving up stam is also ridiculous.

Now, I was under the impression that Cows did the special xp/pots just to coincide with these to make money and I`m happy to hear that it is more than that. Everytime we have an "Event" the same ones seem to come up with some sort of complaint since it does not agree with that persons schedule.

I for one think cows should not change anything as "CAVING" for a handful of Players that know full well this is coming is what causes games like this to eventually shut down.  I don`t care if your 250k stam isn`t full or you have wasted all your "great" gift pots on something else than this event.  It seems like a few need some advantage rather than trying to save up for something Special.  RED

#888446 Update v2.50

Posted by Zorg on 05 September 2014 - 16:05

This update makes a few small changes and the Quick Buff system has been completely reworked to include features from Fallen Sword helper and a nicer UI (As per the Development Roadmap).

Now when you go to Quick Buff you will be able to see current buffs on your targets, along side stamina costs and the level that buffs will be cast at (including enhancements, skills, etc). You can also save your selection of buffs in to 'Buff Packs' which can then be used later.

Guilds are now limited to sending out 1 invite reminder per day, this was to stop issues with double clicking and spam. Also guild mates who share a PVP Band should now find themselves able to attack their fellow guild mates, to solve the problem of some PVP Bands being populated entirely by a single guild.

QUICK BUFF ROADMAP UPDATE

  • Currently active buffs are now displayed for your target(s).
  • Bonuses to buff levels from enhancements, skills and guild structures are now included so you know what level buff you're about to cast.
  • Total stamina cost is now shown for the cast along side current stamina.
  • You can now check-all the buffs or single categories headers.
  • You may now save your buffs in to 'Buff Packs' for repeated use.
GAME CHANGES
  • Guilds can now only send one invite reminder to a player per day.
  • Players can now attack fellow guild members if they share a PVP Band.   (Reverted)
BUG FIXES
  • Equipped item tool tips no longer say 'Click to Learn'.
  • Highlighting a name in the action list will no longer cause you to click it.
  • Fixed some typos and spelling errors around the game.
  • Fixed issue where item tool tips would sometimes not update during crafting.
  • Fixed bug where an incomplete bounty would prevent some future bounties.
  • Fixed issue where players could double click their way in to groups twice.

#810115 Big Problem With Relics ??

Posted by BigGrim on 05 September 2013 - 08:40

Guilds can defend their relics any way they wish as long as it isn't breaking any rules..

There's only two ways to defend a Relic. Defend it with a strong force or take it back when lost. However, far too many players think it is acceptable to threaten players with violence, in-game and in real life for touching 'their' relic. It is not. We take a rather dim view of such behaviour.

Relics belong to HCS. Guilds claiming that they 'own' a Relic and it is 'theirs' that no one else may attack are dead wrong. It does not belong to them and they are open for all to try and capture.

#798598 Relic discussion

An interesting thought for relics would / could be :-

(forgive how basic this is, it's just come to me so hasn't been refined in any way)

Guilds are all given an "average" level (includes retired / inactive players) - so, 100 players, 50 of L500 and 50 of L1K, the "average level" would be L750.

Relics are all given a "Map Level +100" flag. Let's assume we're talking about "The Blue Chasm" here. It's on a Level 1 map. That gives it a "flag" of 101. This would mean that guilds with an average player level of 101 or above can't capture this relic.

Working with "Castle of the Sorceress". It's on a Level 508 map - therefore, it's "flag" is 608. Guilds with an average player level of 608 or higher can't capture the relic.

The numbers can be worked on, as can the determining factors for the guild "flag", but personally, I think this is an interesting mix-up for relics and helps spread them out a bit more too.
