Not liking it at all

I don't really mind the forum... i just hate having to sign in with my email... was so much easier just putting my game name in and password.

I think it's okay, but I'm not quite familiar with this yet.. and where's off topic? 

 

& just wondering, where's the "View active topics" button? I'm a little lost..

I usually don't complain about changes, unless it's photobucket or this.

It seems like there's less topics per page, which causes the 'pinned topics' to take up half of this forum. There also appears to be less room for text.

It's also kinda' confusing seeing someone's profile name or whatever, and then their Fallensword username.

I dunno. I'll get used to it eventually.

Oh there are so many things I do not like... and a one I do

1. I HATE having to sign in to get in here.  

2. I HATE the difficulty of use of this forum.

3. I dislike that I can not just pull up my topics (at least as far as I can tell)

4. I dislike the fact that It is easy to double post.

5. I dislike the fact that I can not just view active topics (as far as I can tell)

6. I Dislike the fact that all my PM's are gone.  I kept info in there.. DAMN IT!

7. I am frustrated with the off topic being gone (although I did see that it has moved to a different area).. see #2

But as with all things that are Run by the cows.. I will adjust.. I'll just be grumpy for a while.

I figured out how to find my posts

I do not like right clicking images.

I can't find a way to remove smilies.

I also miss the old smilies, despite the fact I never used them.

I dont like that you havent noticed I PMed you. Do you have to manually go into the inbox to check? I feel like that mail icon should light up or have a number next to it or something.

Whelp, I just noticed all of this change after getting a 403 error a couple of times since I had the forum bookmarked. Since I just got on, I won't really make an official opinion until some time has passed.

 

My first impression...I dunno, I kinda liked the more plain background of the original forums. All the pics are kinda distracting now. Was a bit weird making a new account to merge with the FS one, but I guess it makes sense so everyone doesn't have a bunch of accounts floating about. I like the new set up of options for posting, but I do miss some of those smilies.

I think that's it for now, haven't had much time to poke around. Oh and sorry I really haven't been around. Last marking period just started, still have no idea what schools to look at, and drumline+school=stressful and sleepy me. I haven't even had time to think and make a good graphic since the GGT. I've been sorta thinking more on school art projects instead. I'll be back eventually.

I just didn't notice it until now.

I also don't like the image uploading interface. I preffered it when I just clicked the button and it put '[IMG]' around the text.

So far is very mixed opinion then.

 

I like the whole merger concept though if it means ultimately more people join FS then can't be all bad.

Overall It's gonna take a lot of getting use to. It isn't like the cows don't know they have things to tweek and adjust, and more likely the more we complain about things the higher the priority they will make it. 

 

I have mixed feelings about all of it really. I don't really see the big deal of logging in with my email, just means a little more typing. I'll get over that. 

Figuring out everything seems to be the biggest part of it all, which of course is just gonna take time. 

 

I think we all should be more open to the change, don't hate it just because it's new. Change can be good! 

 

BTW! I LOOOOOOOVE how signatures pop now because of the darker background. <3

Other than the lack of ability to delete a post (assuming no replies), I really like this new forum.
