I've been playing Eldevin for several days and I have enjoyed it a lot. It has an amazing storyline; however, the one thing that bothers me the most is that I can't rotate the screen or zoom in or out whenever I want.

The only way for me to do any of these is when I first log in, and even then, it rotates continuously or zooms in to the maximum level (my WASD keys are completely useless as they do absolutely nothing). After that, I can't rotate the screen until I log in again.. I tolerated this for the first couple of days I played since I incorrectly assumed that it was a temporary malfunction, but it's impossible for me to run dungeons with this problem.

I use the latest software and I play on Safari since Chrome doesn't allow me to for some reason. My internet speed is excellent, but this is still occurring.

I ask that staff members PLEASE look into this and fix it accordingly so other Mac users including myself can play this game with full enjoyment, because I am absolutely sure that upon the official release of this game that there will be many more Mac users who wish to play this game.

Also, please consider BOTH PC and Mac users when implementing features in the future.

Thanks.

It's a bug that was introduced sometime in Java 7, it's reportedly fixed in Java 8 (unsupported and still in alpha/beta but you can install it). There may be additional regressions in Java 8 mind you.

From what I can read from the Oracle bug report the key released event is not getting sent and breaks the input on Mac.

There is nothing we can do about this at all.
