anyway your move, please try to come back with an actual response to my ideas laid out, as oppose  to playing the "farm" card. And as you said before, lets not use personal attacks, Im not a kid and I don't really want to talk with one =)

Then you complain about not being able to state your opinion, obviously people will oppose you if you take the time to call them out 1 by 1, you brought that on yourself

 

 

You only hit weak guilds just so your pocket can grow, you are completely opposed to this idea because you KNOW it will revive GVG and hence bring in more players to challenge you, my top GVG guild isnt exactly a small guild, so defending a conflict successfully is never a walk in the park, your guild has all the resources to defend well just like mine has, youve got gear, buffers, potions and hitters, you don't defend conflicts because youre not willing to commit enough to do this successfully, so I'm sorry to say, if you go by that attitude you don't even deserve to be where you are in the ladder.

 

If you notice all the top GVG guilds agree with this statement, not because it will make them richer, but because it will increase activity in a dying aspect of the game, because it will bring in more guilds willing to compete with them, and make it more challenging and fun, I mean, wheres the fun in hitting a bunch of players who are offline in epics without worrying about any repurcussions? And that is why people who practice other aspects of the game are also on board with this idea, the only reason you are opposed to this idea is your own selfishness, how much money you'll potentially be out, and THAT is why NOBODY agrees with your point

If this stupid system is developed (which it won't, regardless of what it is) I will drop out of TRIP for a few months, make my own gvg guild and get number one so we can stop this silly pride argument :))))))))

Bahaha takes more than talk to be #1 to do that it requires skills which Farming does not teach wether your in a guild with many or little #1 is still a LONG shot ........ Pride...... lol.

When one has the skills, one has no need to "farm"  

And a little challenge means nothing but a chance to show one's mettle....

I know I'm late but I just wanted to say that I agree with Rye's proposal. I have always loved PvP/GvG, and want to see an increase of people participating in GvG. I like competition, my fault, I love competition, it makes me try even harder.

 

The rewards stated could be better, but overall I am in agreement and support Rye's proposal.

tbh i think it will be the same guilds that gvg now that will do it if this is implemented.

as folks are saying its easy to farm for rp so if they wanted to do it they would be doing it now ,cant see how it will get more guilds doing gvg ?

what you all fail to see is that its not going to happen before the app is released so can keep churning out same arguement for next 3 months or so ,

Id like guilds who attack others with less then 1000 rating to get half the RP unless they're under 1000 rating themselves. Then guilds with low rating get more RP for wins against guilds with high rating

Draws for the attacking guild should get no RP

New prizes or rewards would be nice but mainly buff packs, focusing on lvling buffs with maybe some low lvl GS and high guard for those guilds defending with people in epics.

A defending win should get more RP then an attacking win To encourage people to defend

I like the idea of a notice period before attacks commence but maybe no cloak allowed but that's just personal preference.

I agree with every suggestion said here by Red1, it would make GVG a lot more exciting

 If you think this will help get more people into it i think u are kidding yourself ,unless we get a huge influx of new players 

 

but keep debating as the app will be finished one day and then this may just happen

but still not going to get players in there doing gvg ,if you have to opt in to do it will only get the same old guilds in there ,even less if you cant hit guilds not involved *ie no more farming*,

 

 so no new players less gvg targets ,less people in there gvg

 

 yep great way to fix gvg system

 

oh did i forget more rp for the gvg guilds who farm most of it now anyway

This is bad how?

 

GvG used to be quite lively.... Then there was farming.  Changes were made to reduce farming, and the farmers just tried new approaches, still farming.  

 

GvG needs a shot in the arm, there's no denying that.

Guild tagging, extensions to personal backpacks and Auction Slots killed this game.

 

How that was allowed, I'll never know :unsure:  Oh I know, it was implemented after a certain section of the community rallied it! Just like all the other borked ideas they rallied and persuaded, like reduce gold, reduce Common creature drops! WHY!?!  Because it didn't suit their 'cause' or gameplay at the time and some numpty knows nothing admin was persuaded it was best *rolls-eyes*

 

CONFLICT and it's action was THE FIRE that made this game unique. It was truly interacive and a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game"

 

( MMORG) in it's true sense. Oh for the days of such true gaming back in the day 10 years ago :wub:


THE community here has derided the essence, there is a base core who try daily to keep it alive and I hope we do but even this suggestion to rejuvenate is nothing but a shot in the dark for a memory and fun factor long gone Rye, sorry to be blunt but that's how I see it :ph34r:
