So I FINALLY beat this quest... after literally over 500 tries and thousands of gold spent on repairs..
and this is my quest reward?!?!?!?!?
You gotta be fuckin kidding me ... is this some kind of sick joke....?
Pathetic. Just purely pathetic. Makes me want to quit this game.. 
As much real $ as I've spent on this game.. it was no where NEAR worth my time to complete this...

Congrats on finishing the quest! For me, the reward was actually surviving, although, a bauble would have been appreciated.
Please do not make him much easier! Just increase the size of the room and reduce his crit damage some.

Totaly agree with bryn, the reward here is the challenge wich was a good challenge.

This is not the only quest chain with a tough boss at the end. As an example the level 40 "Paid in Full" with the Crimson Lord is also tough, in fact much tougher than this one (assuming you solo the Crimson Lord -- you can group kill him but what's the fun of that?).
What I do when I hit these type of quests is simply move on and then return when I am a couple or three levels higher. There are plenty of other quests to do so leaving one or two in the book until I am able to come back and complete them is no problem.
IMO don't nerf this one, keep it as is.

It may not need a nerf, but the quest reward is simply pathetic.
Also, like Bryn said, the size of the room should be a bit larger as well..

If I recall correctly, a dev said that the Plague had the wrong tier/level set to it. So it was stronger than intended.

I had just redone this quest it can now be redone on any class character tbh,seems it got a big nerf A lot easier then i recall...only 30k life hits like crap.

Bah really so what now HCS why not give us 80 regular flakes so we can make the trinket set without all the fuss.
