We're very happy to announce today that closed beta for Eldevin will open in March and you can now sign up for your chance to be involved! We'll be opening access to the game up in waves over the next few months as we work towards Open Beta then release.

Yeah they're going to merge FS into the Hunted Cow Portal like all the other games. 

 

 

Edit: Did you guys change up the quoting method? Not liking what it's doing now... It's being all funky and indenting the quote, then if you hit backspace at all, it kills the quote, and looks like the person quoting said it instead of it quoting. I noticed this on some other posts of mine that were fine, and are now all messed up. Also, I had to edit and add quote tags around the quote, because the only thing it showed in the quote tag was the datestamp. 

 

Edit 2: Ok, so inserting quote tags around it didn't work. Still quotes just the datestamp of the quote, not the quote itself.

 

Edit 3: A day later, quoting seems to be working again... I think.

I would like to know when they are going to let us know who is beta testing and who is not, I submitted an application but I am guessing they arent ready yet to decide who is going to be testing and who wont be.

 

Would be nice though for a rough estimate on when we can expect to know.

Wave 1 invites will go out towards the end of March I believe, if you miss out on the first wave don't despair as we'll likely be inviting more and more people as we grow more confident in our server architecture.

Reading through the number of "OhboyOhboyOhboy!  I hope I"m chosen!!"  I would think that there would have to be a fair number of beta players chosen, else there would be no interaction, and that would mean a defective beta test.  HCS probably will choose from time zones around the world, so that the system will be tested on a continuous basis also.

   I'm also a little surprised that on the Fallen Sword home page, of the scanty number of thumbs up.

   Whatever happens I hope everyone who gets chosen will do their best to test the game.  When you come down to it, it's quite a responsibility.  You're going to be one of the main reasons if the the same is a success or.........(Not to put any pressure on us!)
