does HCS ever e-mail players that have not been logged into game in X days?
Cause a global event might be a good time to do so. "We and your guildmates missed you, check out the global event " and so on.

ok i wasnt going to but i cant resist...
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results--
Albert Einstein
Doing the same thing? Making changes based off of Player Feedback? Making new potions and thinning out the creatures in the caves. Forgive me, but I don't recall these changes happening before.
all cave pots to date have just been added and left there with the exception of the first multi buff pots that were just test posts.
EW1500, EA200, UB190, the necrosis post (forget the name off hand) and the multi buff pot with sanct and all in it are all permanent pots and all fail to be a proper gold sink as everyone is still begging for a good gold sink.
that is why i posted my suggestion here about potion events happening every week or every 2 weeks and rotating so that you can have 3 events before repeating the same one.
if there worth having and just placed and left there they will flood in no time and it will basically be like all the other pots in the caves. the only difference this time is you are making them easier to get so basically making them easier to flood
really no skin off my back tho it just means they will cheaper for me and everyone else to buy so really im good with it

For the cost of actually getting the items, the Blood Gazant can afford to be removed and the items just put in a shop. Same is true of the Goblin Spearman & Unglag Beetle I think.
Cave Thunder Fly can be removed and his potion reallocated as can the Cave Skeleton.
The Goblin Spearmans Greenskin fungus could be moved to another creature or other items could be added to the Spearman. Maybe the Potion of Greater Discovery from the Cave Troll. Or the Greenskin fungus to be put on the Troll. The Cave Skeleton could also be removed and his Potion of Greater Doubler added to someone else.

So. Looking at the creatures in the caves, I think we can all agree that Zombie, Goblin & Vampire can be removed. If ou want them, they are out in the world and easy to find and kill.

grim can some thought be put into using the sets you get from the caves as there is a fair few of them making there items usable in the new potions seems a waste dumping hindreds of there sets on a scavenging weekend.. the sets are not used or at least not by many unless arena use so there is no market what so ever for them

Could do, yes. That'd give some value to them at least. I hadn't thought of that! Nice one.

......................
Scavenging Caves.
We have been reviewing feedback regarding gold sinks within the game and possible changes that could be made to the Scavenging Caves. To this end, we shall be looking at the creatures and the drops within the caves, possibly removing creatures that serve little purpose as well as adding a few new potions.
This should roll out within the next few days. As ever, we would be grateful for any feedback regarding these upcoming changes.
~ The Fallen Sword Team
woot!!!! looking forward to this

The Zombie, Vampire, Goblin, Cave Thunder Fly and Cave Skeleton can be removed from the Caves. The Potion of Imp from the Cave Thunder Fly will be available as a drop from the Cave Grofflesnout. The Potion of Greater Doubler from the Cave Skeleton will be dropped by the Cave Troll.

That still leaves six creatures dropping sets that aren't used often (Though one of those also drops the Deathly Mold.). These could be used in new recipes as per the suggestion from Hades. We'd probably mix the other bits from the Resource/Quest Item dropping critters.
could of swore i said to use the sets that aint used but nm
