I'd hate losing xp, because after all the quests for your lvl are done, you have to grind.  So basically I think everyone would just lvl up, and then use the respec thing to avoid xp loss.  Why not just have specific tokens that let you take back 1 talent and 6 attribute points (basically a lvl worth of points)?

#805318 Scrolling to zoom issue.

Another tester talked about that the other day, but I for one have no problem with the mouse scroll.  It only zooms the game for me, it doesn't scroll the page up and down.  HCS, you might want to look at this!

#802638 Tool tiers - Enhancing gathering/crafting

Posted by Glanppuccino on 28 July 2013 - 04:17

I think it would be nice to have gathering tools with different bonuses that enhanced gathering/crafting.

For example, you could have a tool that gives you a slight increase in xp gain when gathering. You could have one that has a chance of increasing the amount of ressources gathered, or processed (i.e. smelting and such).  Or you could have one that increases the chance of getting the rare materials.

Crafting tools could be added, and could have similar or different bonuses, like slight increase in xp gain when crafting, or gives you a chance to not consume materials, or even give bonus stats to gear.

These tools could be rare drops, crafted (weaponsmith?), bought with Eldevin Points, etc.

This is an existing feature in the game of Lord of the Rings Online, and I enjoyed the little bonus/surprise effects you could get now and then.  I wonder what you guys think of that.

I know it could make gathering and crafting easier, but I think it would add a little spice to the professions and open another market for the players : tools.

#802405 [Implemented] A SMALL SUGGESTION

For PvP, I don't mind.

Ranking other stuff would be unecessary in my opinion, only followed by  ego-maniacs and the typical 'dick-wavers' :P

#798718 [Implemented / In Development] First impressions after a full night of playing

Posted by Glanppuccino on 01 July 2013 - 17:49

Hello,

I wanted to share my first thoughts on this game.  I rarely give feedback on forums and such but I think this game deserves it because I really like it and I am looking forward to continue playing it.

First off, the controls : point and click to move is fine, but with the dynamic combat, being able to move with hotkeys would be really nice (good old w-a-s-d).

The camera : is somewhat annoying, you can't get a good sense of where you are going since you mainly look at the ground and you can't see far away.

The interface : is really small.  Like too small.  Maybe add an option to make it bigger ( ex: the minimap, the hotbar, the chat window, the status effects on your character, the menus, etc.)

The items, abilities text : why is it in the top corners?  It would make more sense to keep the description text of these things next to it, like in most other games.

The quest tracker : I would like to be able to see my quest progress in it instead of in the chat log ( ex: Kill 0/4 wolves appearing on screen under the quest name and it would update).  Tracking more than one quest would be nice too.

Game client? Is it planned to have a stand alone client (i.e.: not playing in browsers)?

All in all this game is really fun and is well done.  The quests are simple to follow, the tutorials really help, and I can feel that it has deep content.  Great job!
