So, I updated to the latest stable release - 32.0.1700.76m - and I've begun to experience what's been reported here.

I have disabled all extensions and plugins and still get the crash when viewing item mouse overs (hence adobe flash shouldn't be responsible). The crash appears to be random for me, I can view a no. of mouse overs then one will take longer to load leading to a crash.

I've been getting this alot lately as well. Using version 1700.72. I have been playing Eldevin far more than FS lately and the ONLY time I get that error there, is when I have a tab open in FS and FS crashes.

All tabs connected to the crashing tab will also crash.  So if you have FS open, and you open the top-bar HCS Account link into a new tab, and then click Eldevin from there, the tabs are connected.  To keep Eldevin from crashing when FS does, open a new tab for Eldevin independent from the FS tab.

Yeah that's the page we're seeing when the mouse-overs crash our FS tabs. General Chrome crash error.

Does this seem to only happen when you mouse-over? I've not found a good way to replicate it yet :(

yes

I'd posted earlier in the thread with the errors from my JavaScript console when I do any FS mouseovers, even if they don't crash it. Maybe that might help? I dunno... Thanks for looking into this. It's really frustrating.

I've updated the library we use to generate the mouse-overs. Can you please let us know if you still experiencing the crashes?

Chrome 32.0.1700.77 started crashing on mouseovers for me today as well. Not all the time, but a lot.

Don't know if there is something related, but my Youtube started to have problems again with the version 32.x.

Black windows without buttons, but the sound keep playing.

I think it must be a bug / issue with the latest version of Chrome as nothing we display on the page should crash it like that.

If you refresh a crashed page, the mouseovers no longer work on that specific tab. At least, that's what happens when it crashes due to mouseovers.

yes - logging out and in fixes, until the next time

on multiple other sites i've seen some small changes (theme?) to things like drop-down menus, font, and mouseovers, but have experienced no crashes there... example the arrow showing "this is a drop down box" changed, in shape and color - these changes happened the same (some hours ago) time i started having trouble here

-no FS helper-
