OK. The Advert in the log in says that this is an END GAME Dungeon folks.

END GAME DUNGEON. 

You play, you hit 50, you start over with an alt is my take on this. 

Steam bombed. 

Player numbers are 200,000 feet below the bottom of the barrel. 

I love the game personally. 

I buy game stuff, cause I really like Eldevin. 

The game just didn't fly. Let's get a perspective here. Can't keep a game up and running with 40-50 players on 2 servers and a handful on a 3rd. 

Releasing the last dungeon with probably a few updates in the future is about as good as it'll get. 

Thank you HCS for your hard work.

Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.

I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.

at last someone with some sense understands the issues here, i salute you PXT, as this guy say's, the game cannot survive with a low playerbase as well as other issues, and this does not fall entirely on the devs, all i seem to see in forum posts are high(ish) levels demanding more content, more dungeons, step back and take a look, this is a small indie outfit that have made a bloody terrific game, what is needed are mentors who are willing to help the new players to blend in, rather that the selfish spoilt gamers that want everything their way, lets help these new arrivals instead of alienating them, personally i have a few proteges as i find it more rewarding to help people that to hinder them.

secondly, level 50 has always been the goal for level cap, HCS have always stated this fact so don't be expecting any more levels.

thirdly, the players i see demanding more content are usually the ones that have used every trick in the book to get to cap ( and yes i mean exploits too, which under T&C should be reported) and then start to make demand threads.

I apologise to PXT for kinda highjacking his thread, but there are many more issues i could bring up,

Still be waiting i see as this development dairy lack any usefull information.

Main thing i was looking for Scribe what happen stated to be released latter last year - some this missed dead line.

General update to guild list - add vault

Old content been around form day 1 - Account reward page

Basic content can wait like see what napping - so far this failed give any any useful info looks like be waiting till then.

Does 50 lvl dungeon have "story mode" too? Because me fighting alone, not with newbies who not know what they doing.  :) Need to much time to learn every newbie in my team. :(

Pretty sure lv 50 content was planed to be released back in 2013 but they didnt have the time to finish it ,so they delayed it for 2014.Meanwhile 2016 we still wont receive all of it.And the most frustating part is that we have no idea if they really are working or releasing ready content.Back when the camera was being worked on being fixed we at least knew,the programmer told us more than once that he is working hard .I wonder if Eldevin have released on steam as a game in alpha/beta version,things would be much more different now.Also considering couple of "doors* and hints,the lv 50-60 was reserved for the other 2 orbs and the void capital.Where i asume King Hardlord is (that was his name,right? :_: )

We have other content in the works too which is planned to be released at a later this year and I'll happily share some screenshots and some previews in the coming weeks :)

I am pleased to see that there is at least some kind of development on the game and at least there's a feeling that some development has been done.  I just hope for the game's sake it's not a case of too little too late.  I would like to suggest to those that are still complaining and are not happy with what has been done, to seek other more developed/more advanced games that may better suit their gaming needs!

I don't believe that this is an end game dungeon. Lets see how many updates are still in production and the loose storyline ends... I certainly hope they don't end it here... And atin... All we see is some pictures that would have taken like 2h to make... Not progress... We see assurances but no proof...i for one am a bit disillusioned but will continue to support hcs... If they would reply to my email, would be even better

 This will be a level 50 dungeon complete with new enemies, loot and quests.

 

No new level 50 armor like this? :(

DONT STORY RUNS TO NEW DUNGEONS RIGHT WHEN THEY COME! If story runs on a new dungeons it be a new "farm" to relcis and no one know how to made dungeons like we did when i started to play 2013-12-11 and did my 1rst SV 2014-02-11. That time it was no story mode and the game was more fun but now when it are story runs its abled to skip lv 30 35 40 armor and jump to lv 45 armor parts and get lv 48-49 armor (crafted)

LOL I just figured out that we deal 2x normal damage in story mode dungeons. Story mode wont make people learn how to be better playing this game.

Lol what a load of nonsense, those not wanting story mode in the game are those that do dungeons all the time. Story modes there for others as well.  players who just want armour for levelling up, No story mode will just put the casual player off even more.

People still arguing over story modes :) 

 

Why not have two tiers of armour sets for each dungeon. One that's obtainable in story mode and make current armour sets for dungeon mode only. Story mode armour would be slightly less powerful but still competitive with armour you get as quest rewards or random rare drops and you'd gain all set pieces as chance of boss loot drops in story mode dungeons. I know this breaks current formula of dungeon gear but  this way you could make relics completely dungeon mode exclusive too. Solo players would have access to reasonably high tier equipment without having to grind story mode hundreds of time and those who take challenge of dungeon mode will have their reward for hard work.

 

If gogsy is still arguing about how solo players should have access to top tier equipment, look around. Infernal weapons, level 49 armour sets, level 49 jewelry sets they are all tradeable. You can literally pay to get best everything in the game. There's no more anything in the high-end content that displays long-term determination to run dungeons. Not even vanity! ASV weapons were the only example of this and they got nerfed too. And no, I don't count dungeon armour sets as they currently are a display of determination since they are grindable in just a few hours with minimum effort, thanks to story mode.

 

That's just one of my points of view towards keeping end-game players interested in the game.

I think the hard core gamer on this game needs to sometimes take a step back and realise something, end game currently has no story mode dungeons. HOW IS THIS GAME DOING RIGHT NOW ?? Booming I guess. 

 

Now explain how story mode dungeons could seriously impact the already crap population on this game, besides harming some egos that you are not a special flake anymore able to run around dungeons and having everything, while sniggering at the guy having nothing. I say have a story mode and have gear slightly less skilled than normal dungeon gear. Who cares what is drops at this point if it puts a few more bodies online playing. It would just need to be set up correctly. 

 

I say go nuts at this point, who cares if there is story mode. The game is dead anyway, might as well let the few who are isolated and still play have options.

You hard core. You can play dungeons all your life, even with huge 5 FPS lag and 800 PING, but not me. Me retro gamer. :)

I think story modes are fine and I see both points actually.

 

 I just think maybe not bring story mode out for new dungeon right away and see if maybe those that do want to do dungeons can form groups.  

 

 not everyone has regular teams and it's a new dungeon so everyone has to learn it and experiment in order to understand it and get through it.  

 

my guess is this falls mostly upon tanks and healers but there are players still in this game willing to group up and learn even if it means dying a lot ( really there are always options to make back gold from repairs and dying doesn't effect xp so who cares if we die, what's left your ego ?).

 

Maybe they can satisfy all players by first bringing out the group dungeon and giving it maybe couple of months or something like that and then a story mode.

 

I really don't know.

 

I actually do see both points and I actually have always done story modes as well as dungeons when I can go to them.  

 

one thing I know is there is never any game where all players are 100% satisfied with any updates or results or game play so it'll be no different with Eldevin but I'm glad to see an update announcement rather then a 'Closed' sign.
