How about a movement speed potion?  It could start out at 2% and then go up by 2% each potion tier.

very much agreed,and good %'s for the pots to start at as you don't want zircs devalued.

lvl 24=2%
lvl 42=4%

and make this pot not be a draft or elixir but rather a ointment or such.

Btw i had flashfreeze but then i respeced but before i had Defined zirconia, fleetfoot buff, speed obelisk,+10% speed from flash freeze, and the game LAGGED heavily when i flash freezed, but i never did dailies so fast, i want this plz HCS do this PLZ

A speed boost makes sense, but unless the ranger buff is greatly improved it would have to be a draft.

 

Fleetfoot is not the most exciting group buff to begin with.  As Susej said, "Defined zirconia, fleetfoot buff, speed obelisk,+10% speed from flash freeze, supper speed pot".  At 5%, Fleetfoot in groups becomes even more a nice to have, but 'meh'.  Especially true if the speed boost is an ointment with no penalty for using it.

 

As it stands with drafts, players can take AP (warrior buff), haste (assassin buff), armor (templar buff).  If speed boost is added, it would absolutely have to be 'instead of'.

making it a draft or elixir would be pointless as no one would ever choose 2% speed over armor or haste etc. The fact of making it something different is so every class can use it to ones advantage without having to sacrifice a big element. a 2%or even 4% isn't op and won't devalue the zirconias

But it will further devalue the already low value Fleetfoot.  As Chelsea said, "Fleetfoot is really sort of useless" (of course it's not totally useless or this topic wouldn't exist).  There are cases where it's great, but compared to the other class buffs in a PvE team?  Speed ointment and zirconia eliminate those few cases.  And someday we may get mounts, further devaluing Fleetfoot.

 

If 10% is too OP, and 5% is too meh, perhaps HCS should add the ointment and reconsider the ranger group buff.  Throwing out a couple of ideas.  Does dodge would make more sense?  Or give dodge to assassin, and move haste to ranger?

 

Or just ask your friendly neighborhood ranger for a buff.

How about changing ranger buff to "gives party a what? 0.5% life steal? Or maybe 15 flat life steal?" Just an idea, all the other classes have a buff that is useful for PvE, as a group. Fleetfoot is more for solo dailies.

Fleet foot is probably the second most useful tool I have, at level 21. Between that and my Call of the Wild I am actually able to perform a lot of soloing, which is a large point of why I chose a Ranger for my first character here. I wanted to kite and solo as much as possible...
