I know that there are other games that HCS produce that have better graphics etc - but Im still a Gothador fan, and I'm really sad to see that the game appears to be abandoned by HCS.
I haven't done all the quests or even visited every realm - but how hard would it be to put some new things in the game?
Just look at the News/Updates...... 19 weeks of the goth lottery! and nothing else!
Look at the lottery square - its full of non subbed players who enter every week - lowering the chance of winning for those who really support the game.
Even the poor old trading network died a death - I have just subbed one of my alts tonight in order to get items that my main character wont be able to get. So thats another $50 to HCS from me.
I don't want to sound as if Im moaning too much - I just really want to see some life back in the game!
No invasion, no dark cloud, no updates......

Yeah - its so sad - and a bit unfair.
Ive invested a lot of money in the game over the years and I dont want to start over with a new game - just for the same to happen.
I did try Fallensword - and to be honest I dont like it very much - so I stopped playing.
I hope one of the HCS staff sees this and does something to try to rescue Gothador.
There are new people signing up all the time - so there is hope....

Ultimately, the Gothador you are playing isn't free. The game I am playing is free, but it isn't nearly as fun as the one you're playing. Cults, additional world areas, slottables, sorcery, many of the games apparently cooler features are off limits for me.
Supporters pay for the server to run Gothador, maybe an HCS employee checks in once in a while, but if you can't get to that dedicated employee you won't get what you want.

Maybe - but we cant give up - at least until they turn off the server....
I think that they should open up another realm to non supporters to keep them interested.
And what about sorcery???
I can go round thumping if Im not subbed for a while - but my mage has to resort to etheral stream
Im not suggesting that they make too much free - since those of us who pay will get upset - but we need to keep the interest of the new folk.
And where is the invasion or dark cloud??

The game has been dead for too long now,be better if they scrapped it altogether,or even sold it to some other outfit who would serve their clients with some respect,and not ripping good hard working people off.Its an absolute disgrace to see how players are now being treated,they take your money and then give you jack s..t in return,pretty sad state of affairs.Do all a favour,just shut the so called game down,and treat people with some respect and honesty,and stop ripping people off.
