When you take Ruffles a fresh one will spawn on that spot shortly after you take him. This is so other players can interact with him and is not related to a previous bug where he would continuously spawn until there were many more of him.
As long as there's only two and one of them is following you, then we're fine.

When you take Ruffles a fresh one will spawn on that spot shortly after you take him. This is so other players can interact with him and is not related to a previous bug where he would continuously spawn until there were many more of him.
As long as there's only two and one of them is following you, then we're fine.
The same thing happend in Azraq Desert for me. But there it was already 2 of the dog before I made him follow me. And noone else was around

Is that recently? I did fix a bug a while ago where multiple dogs were spawning. If it's still there though I'll go back and look at it again.
