So we started a few conflicts today. The updates to PvP have a HUGE negative effect on GvG.  First it makes it a huge pain in the butt to attack the person you want to attack. Even after I joined the conflict hitting the attack button on their profile only leads to the unranked attack option when you switch the the GvG tab it spits back a list of everyone in every guild you have a conflict. I could live with all the other changes but could we please have the list of targets on the GvG list only return hittable targets? By "hittable" I mean in your range and once you max your hits they would disappear. It would be really nice to get a quick preview of buffs and stats - but I have gotten used to havign a tab for each person I am attacking, now I just have to have an extra tab to do the actual attack in that I move down the line.

I've been busy but this seems like a more than logical request.

I like the idea of limiting the list to your actual hittable targets in the guild (keeping VL in mind, btw). One would hope blue and yellow coloring eventually gets implemented in FS (I "think" it is still just a helper option).

I'd go further and suggest an added tab on every player's profile. Perhaps a PvP target unrated and a GvG Conflict attack.

I actually didn't like that there is only one Fight Player option with four inside tabs. Seemed funky. And with this topic even more so. As the current attack takes you to the unrated attack and that is the only place the target's name is filled in:

Ie, I want to attack the player "Woc" in a GvG conflict after checking their equipment and buffs. I click on Attack Player in their profile. Woc is listed in Pick Target (unrated) tab, but not in the Guild Conflict tab.

The updates to PvP have a HUGE negative effect on GvG.

Aren't "GvG" attacks quintuple(5x) the cost of before the "PvP" update? I've always considered GvGing much different than classic PvPing only because you never lost xp. It's yet another example of the recent blurring of the game and increased cost of playing that has caused GvG to look like PvP or vice versa. If the stam cost is increased, for NO reason whatsoever, I understand the negative impact and concur!

Yes, though I beleive the reward is supposed to scale up with the increase in stam use. We wanted to see what the scaled up reward looks like. In theroy a 75 hit conflict should net 375 RP instead of the standard 75. I was also cuorious as to weither the reward for completing all attacks is also scaled up. It would be really nice if when you chose the person you were going to attack you could get a quick glimps of their stats and buffs (like with helper before this update) or if the attack button led to them being selected on the conflict attack page to make it easier. Listing every player in every guild you have an active conflict with is a bit to much. I woulden't wana see the mess of doing 20 conflicts at once!  You could be looking at a list of over 2k players.

It already was scaled up. A 75 hit conflict used to only award 15 RP with the 10 stamina hits, now it awards 75 RP. And likewise for the 50 and 100 attack conflicts

As you can see here:

"Your conflict with XYW resulted in victory with a final score of 50 - 0. Your GvG rating has increased by 0 and you gained 60 Guild RP"

That was a 50 attacks Conflict, 50 for the win and 10 for completing all attacks.

But I agree, the attack system is the worst EVER....That need to be fixed...took too long to find a target.

We'll take a look at changing the list so that it only shows valid Guild Conflict targets :)

We just updated the Guild Conflict dropdown menu so that it will now only show targets within the valid level range. Let us know if that works better for you now?

It's an improvement but it's like using a band-aid when you need stiches

ABC, great thread but in light of Hoof's response you might want to be a bit more specific on this, just from a functional viewpoint. Hoof did actually call for more info on this in the actual PvP Seasons, but I felt it would get lost there and I'm not hardcore into GvG so thought I wouldn't be the best source of info.

Something like:

1. Quick preview of buffs and stats (blah, blah).

2. Y

3. Z

Anyway, I'm talking out of my rear end at the moment, but I don't "think" that request 1 would fly though I'd agree with at least the option to right click on targets to see their profile.

I'd still like to see the GvG option implemented to profiles to click from there directly. In my case, that would solve all pending issues. Again, I use the coloring system that I believe is ONLY available in FSHelper. )o0
