This is a challenging, deep, and immersive game. It is not, and never will be, a mass-market game. And that is a good thing imho. The last thing an advanced game like this needs is a horde of short-term CCW looking for the latest and greatest thing, and expecting to finish end-game content next week.

 

If you want a mobile game that you can buy and finish in a month, this is not the game for you. If you want to look at pretty pictures and then move on to the next show, this is not your game. If you are looking for a twitch-shooter, this is not your game. If you get frustrated because everything isn't easy for you to understand and handle without effort as soon as you encounter it - run, don't walk, to another game.

 

The people who complain about lack of content simply haven't advanced far enough to unlock further features. Quests are unlocked no more than one level above the character. I have played for 2 months (about 350 hours) in this game. Just yesterday, at level 23,  I opened up two detailed islands to explore that I never even knew existed. I currently have 38 quests open, covering 5 or 6 story lines. Probably 15 or so quests were unlocked yesterday. That number does not include another 50 or so possible daily quests.  Some I cannot do yet because of my (lack of) skills, and others I just haven't had the time to do. 70% of the dungeons are above my level now. There are quests for fighting, scouting and running away, infiltrating, crafting, and puzzling. Some of the quests are very imaginative - I have adapted a couple for my D&D campaign.

 

Is it the perfect game for me? No. Does it have a few issues? Of course. But I play some every day.  It is in my top 4, along with a game I have played for 7 years, and two others I have played for 2-3 years each. They each scratch a different itch. The other 3 are mostly in maintenance mode for me atm while I start to understand Eldevin .

Well the thing is, a good majority of players complaining about lack of content are max level players(yes 49 is the max) who most likely already went through the game multiple times with their alts. I'm not going to spoil any of the end game quests, but it does leave off on a cliffhanger.......so yea.

I've been playing for about 4 months. Eldevin has been a lot of fun so far. I just wish the devs would consider giving the game a little more love and attention. It would be a shame to create all of this only to end up abandoning development. If that is in fact the case here. I realize that they're busy working on a new project atm, but some encouragement would help to ease player's concerns until development resumes. Assuming there will be any future developments. Ultimately it isn't my call to make. All I can do is offer advice and continue to help by supporting the game. However, if they have entirely given up then perhaps it's in my best interest cut my losses now before investing any more than I already have. Either way, thanks for creating this wonderful game. Eldevin will always be included among my all time favorites.

Just stick around for the time being, it is enjoyable and as previously stated it is a good time killer.

 

 

pvp described by COW; fight your friends or enemies..  3 of us started playing, went to pvp.. about to buy into game.. got griefed by a lvl49 that wasnt neither.. 2left game for good.. i seen that repeat numerous times the same players that complain theres nothing to do, spend their time putting off new players.. COW does nothing.. proof they abandoned the game ?!

Notice devs aren't in anyway denying this.  Server down still have they pulled plug on the game a few weeks early?

as i could not find the said leaked roomer. that is all i am hoping it to be. Eldevin is a very fun game that my wonderful other half introduced me to. i would hate to see this game go down the drain. 

 

after i drop my kids to school and return home i make a coffee and relax a bit playing the game. i do the same in the evening when my little ones are in bed. i have also had my daughter (on days weekend and when she is sick) ask to watch me play, she loves the vanity...clothes, pets, and mounts (what little i have that is).

 

My sons love the different things that can be collected and sometimes collect for me. 

 

this game is very user friendly for all ages (except when the sear filter is off) lol

 

please give the game more TLC...the players have shown on this post and many others how loyal we are and how much we want this game

Rumours of us planning to shut down Eldevin are absolutely untrue. The fact that the game is experiencing issues at the moment is an unfortunate coincidence which we're looking into right now.
