I -finally- managed to make it into the 5 digit FSP. I started the day I hit lvl 500 with 0 FSP, borrowed an FSP from a friend to start buffing with. After several encounters of luck ( 1 malphas drop 1 kill, Inventing an epic ward etc.) several hours of buffing, and some AH bartering, I have:
all done in 24 days. (without real cash, not that I frown on it, it does help pay for the game, I am just answering that question before it is asked)

nice one tawn set myself the same goal am 67 short of my 5 figures lol would of done already but spending 1k on gold and 2k on leveling dented me supply but also selling my ward shield and a few dark spine drops have me within kissing distance

heh, I made ~2.4k scavenging inferno hammer bits, building and selling hammers.
