Because they are ineffectual vs potions?
Potions can't be casted onto other players.. that is one benefit they will always have over any over powered potion that comes out.. for a lot of buffs, it's not a huge benefit but it comes down to what the player, who is casting the buffs, wants to spend their stamina on.. and who is receiving the buff..... and which buff
