Ok, I was dumb and hadn't checked my frag numbers while hunting, and I did have "hide frag log messages" turned on. I turned it off and got 36 drops in 300 kills. I doubt the drop rate is higher than 10%; in the past, global critters have dropped frag stash items at a 10% rate. I highly doubt it's 7.5%: there's only a 0.16564% chance or so that I would get 36 drops in 300 kills with a 7.5% drop rate. For 10% it jumps to 3.76% so I must have just gotten lucky. Or maybe it really is 12%?

 

Were you collecting eggs or killing bunnies? Or a mixture?  That might mess up your kill count and percentages as they give different kill points and maybe have different drop rates.

Fantastic event, just going to be brutal to stay in the top 100 I reckon, got my 200k or so kills in and am still nervous

bro, it sad seeing players like you doing 200k and more kills for helping community but getting same chests as player with only doing 5k kills for himself and not more to help community

How about a complete change in format like a pvp or gvg event. Or a true scavenger hunt with clues?

with still 3 days and almost 6 hours still to go we have already reached the 17.5M mark .... well that was quick , now what ?

cause 1 kill counts for 5.


shadow bunnies count 5x times for each kill.
     so the actual target this time is  
17.5 million / 5  =   3.5 million kills.  

thats why we've reached ruby so fast...

You do realize that current GE creatures gives x5 kills instead of x1? We have now the same goal as when we only get x1 kills a kill.

You do realize that only the much rarer Shadow Bunny gives x5 while the very common Easter Egg only gives x1 don't you?  Global Booster multiplies the kill count of those creatures just like it does for every other GE creature.  The only major differences here are timing and rewards.  There hasn't been another major stam burning event in the very recent past and the reward is awesome.  When those are combined the players are motivated and have the stam available to burn which means success every time.

I don't know about you, but I'm doing top100 with only x5 creatures.
