Hi there everyone!

Today we have released 5 new recipes for the Hunted Cow Titan. These are the first titan items with the new stat formula. As such, we are looking forward to constructive feedback!

The recipes have been added to the Dragon Egg Emporium, the same as the original Hunted Cow Titan items.

The items used in the recipes have been removed from the Auction House and returned to the seller to prevent bad feelings.  :)

Enjoy!

Excellent. :)

This is what we're intending to do with older Epics, for example, on the August Roadmap Epic Rebalance.

For those, we'd be using 2, maybe more of the original Epic, and other items from across other parts of the game (Arena, Ladder, etc. suggestions welcome.)

This would be a good time to do a small update to the RP shop, I think RP items could be used in the upgrade of old epics. A little less Fang and a little more Bobanarts Skull maybe? At least when considering the lower level titan epics, just my 2 cents

I don't have the gold, or I would buy them and check the stats. Can someone please post the stats of the epics?

Has HCS ever considered allowing coordinated attack/defense (buffs like that) to be used when equipped with hunted cow items, but not giving a "set" bonus for wearing the items?

So they can be used as filler pieces in PvP, great idea.

Used in PvP, GvG or even hunting setups.

I have been asking for that to happen for every Epic, for a long time now haha

To not count towards CoA/D, but to not disrupt it either.

Then Epics could be used as the loose 9th piece in a huge variety of setups.

I was suggesting that they be counted towards CoA/D, but not counted as a set. You would have to wear multiple Hunted Cow items for CoA/D to work, and the Hunted Cow items are the only epics with multiple items with the same name, just different levels.

But with my suggestion I think there would have to be 2+ Hunted Cow pieces being worn that are within level range of each other.

Example: Hunted Cow Amulet is say L.1000, for the CoA/D bonus to work, the 2nd or 3rd Hunted Cow piece you would need to wear would have to be within +/- 100 levels up to +/- 250 levels of each other (the level range would up to HCS to decide).

Doesn't the huge jump in points already allow that? They are extremely powerful now. And as we've said, this is not an upgrade that's gonna be exclusive to the HCTitan. We'll be upgrading other Titan items over time through invention and absorption of the Epic surplus in-game.

I'm just a little wary of making the items excessively powerful with those particular buffs.

This is an absolutely terrible idea for the game's balance. I understand the desire to "feel more powerful" with the stats, however, it's evidenced here that the way in which the stats are compounded isn't common knowledge. I could go through the math to show why this would be bad, but to save everyone the trouble, there are two pulled "context" quotes that summarize the idea, anyway.

...at a time where people claim they want more challenge...

...a guild that's against power creep.

Again, these ideas for allowing Coordinated Buffs to work with Epics is bad. There's a reason there is criteria listed on the Coordinated Buffs, and, again, with the rebalance of Epics coming to fruition, allowing a change of this magnitute would only cause a greater imbalance in the game.

We can agree to disagree, i understand the math and i've seen it in play. It does not make a big deal. It has worked before at half the stats and it was fine on weps, will be just fine with double the stat. This is merely the cost of doing business without upgrading stamina gain and in the face of coordinated buffs.

It is also not a desire to feel more powerful, but weave them into other aspects outside of GvG Defense (slightly) and Arena.

I'd rather have this change along side some other nerfs to buffs. This is such a minor change in the face of HG/GS/etc and their effect.

Allowing Epics to work with buffs like Coordinated Attack/Defense would be a significant power boost. Considering the rarity of the higher tier epics, furthers a creep towards Pay to Win.

Currently, even adding 1000 extra stat points can make a huge difference compounded with buffs. You're wanting that but tenfold. They're already all but necessary for high level "epic" enabled arenas. Members of your guild have already branded them as the "meta" and another consideration is Invigorate adding an extra 1.75% overall.

While the new epics were already overpowered by design, I feel they handled the addition very well. Now there are rare and very powerful items people can collect, they already do something no other single item can do outside of their rarity by giving +7 Stamina gain.
