Hey there.
I have added the Rune as a drop from the creature but also locked the room Xinderoth is in to the Quest in which you first receive the Rune. This should resolve this problem.

does that mean you have to do the quest to get excess to the se if so thats brill and thankyou for a fast resolve

OkayYes, that's exactly right. You'll need to have done the Quest up to you receiving the Rune in the first place to be able to access the room Xinderoth spawns in.
