Hello people! I love the assassin class for its high DPS and fast kills! Have you ever play Perfect World International?!?!? DAMN THAT IS THE MOST FASTEST ASSASSIN ATTACKS I EVER SEEN! NOT TO MENTION THE DAMN CRITICAL DAMAGE WITH PURE DEXTERITY!!! Assassin will always be forever in my heart, first choice class in every MMO, heck I even name my Eldevin Character Assasin_Creed! I am currently level 8 and I am not sure on where to direct my character. For those who have started before me and play alot more than me, who are high level assasins, could you give me some tips? I would love me some high critical and fast attack type build, but hey if you think there are better builds please put it in the comment below. Stats build, I can handle that on my own, but the skill tree is what I am not sure off. For now, I am putting my talent points at melee damage/critical, but for assassin skills I don't know which talent should I add into. Any suggestions from any high level assassin lovers?

Am a lvl 35 assasin .But am not a pure assassin . Pure assassins in eldevin have medium armor, not what am fond off .So am dressed in heavy armor but got my duel wield as a assasin . I have all my 31 points in assassin , And the last couple of rows have the special attacks. For instance one of them lobotomize when at its full capacity (there something called blood stacks, when its at 6 ) u can get upto 5 K crit hit which is awesome and assasins have more DPS than rangers .

This is my talent point setup . The thing in assassin skill tree is that each and every talent is so cool and u cant decide where to put . If u have medium armor u gain only + 12 % crit hit chance if u put them in the first skill . So i decided to go with maximum armor . My dps is 1035 . Which is less than warriors. Warriors have a lot for meelee attack power . In eldevin u can go hybrid classes , At present warrior + assasin is the sole damage infantry with hell a lot of power .

Yes I was a PWI player, infact it was the last MMORPG I came from. I quit because of how play-to-win it was and the fact it's orientated for chinese/american players.

 

I'm not sure the PWI assassin would fit into Eldevin, imagine how powerful a 5APS Eldevin-Sin would be? .

 

For assassin you definitely want to go full build, and get the end talent. I can't remember my exact old build because I've been testing out other classes, but I would suggest going for mainly a full Focus-Melee build, to maximize DPS (3 Focus, 3 Melee) per level.

My build is entirely different here - I Went with all my points in melee. I think that was 210 points of em . In lvl 35 u Have a complete set called mercenary set and it gives my other requirements , Am at 5400 HP (thats kinda low) and 2400 mana , focus is 150 (on eating cooked macquerals) and melee is at 479 ( with melee pot) .The end buff - soul fire is a very good one . U heal urself for 10 % of the damage u do, increases haste , resets all spell cooldown . The other good thing in eldevin assasin in the frozen spire .By far the best attack over area. Does a lot of damage when u have the talent point for it in the talent tree .

Agreed on the end talent, but I have found that a full Melee build better overall than a Focus/Melee combo. granted I did 2 Focus/4 Melee per level so a bit different, the consistent damage from a full melee build is great. Will try switching to a 3/3 build soon to test if increased crit chance is worth it.

 

Blind/Spires combo are talents I would highly recommend too. Can reduce pretty much any groups of enemies to a pile on the ground if you also put points (2/2) in Shock Trauma.

at lvl 50 though there is an even better pvp build.. but well, time will come^^

 

and since it was mentioned before..:

assassin with heavy armor is at best a warrior hybrid going for Attack Power (+18%!)

or (if no points in Warrior) a disabled assassin with just the wrong Armor,

since you loose 12% Crit chance (worth around 60 Attribute Points! - even at Lvl 50 you just have 300Points!)

its close to what i used to have before (from start of beta 2nd round - medium armour/pure assasin). i would suggest to remove a.serrated_edge and put it into a.eclipse + a.shadow_strike.

still have 2 talent points unassigned so will probably remove w.blazing_strike + w.invigorate for now and move it to assasin tree so i can set a.lobotomize (yes, i'm missing it a lot )

when more talent pts will be available, w.cleave could be the next step. for now i'm looking forward to upcomming talents update.

Lobotomize is the strike that does serious damage ... U can put those remaining 2 points in it without touching warrior tree . I changed to another build till new lvl ( for pure pvp and dungeons )I wanted till offensive stances in warrior and wanted max damage of lethal concoction and watch ur step for spires - http://talenttheory....e1h2i2k2l1o3t3/

Torture (lvl 45 ) does 450 % DPS and it can be bought from scrolls , so definitely everyone would have it in end lvl's . I have no idea whether it needs dual wielding or not - if its not then it would be used by many classes . Could it be 250 % melee dps (and another 200 % using talents ) ?I am sure than many of them would change to assassin hybrid at lvl 50

i'm sorry, i wasnt exact probably. i know what lobotomize is, i had in on pure assasin build. with the setup i posted there's not enough pts as you have to have 24 assigned in assasin talent tree 1st. that setup could work for lvl 37+. hope new levels come soon

u can get upto 5 K crit hit which is awesome and assasins have more DPS than rangers .

Well, in PVP that really rare 1 per 20 sec (with super haste) 4024 damage hit  (basing on your data provided - DN if you did count + 10 melee pot or not) on 70% hit target () still needs much masturb buttonclicking to be performed. Compared to overall fragility compared to some more stable builds......   But still only arena will judge us after the rawards are on 

 

Did test assasin for a few days - PVE only future it has in current situation. Yep y can get quick xp andmuch drops slaying 10+ creeps in a row but when it comes to boss\pvp...    well lets wait for update.
