I probably won't hunt this titan, but here's my suggestion...how about making the footprint feature come to use by synchronizing it with that titan ? For example, whenever that titan jump to another location that you have walk and have your footprint on, your footprint on that spot will be erased, indicating that the titan was there. This suggestion probably wont work on small map since TH can just walk all around the entire area, leaving their footprint. But think of the possibilities if the map the titan spawn is quite large. :)

The whole point of making this new titan invisible was to combat scripting. If there's no indication on screen, then scripting can't determine where it is and thus those that cheat have lost all their unfair advantage.

 

That said, IF (and I repeat, IF) some form of arrow on the map pointing NE, NW, SE or SW could be implemented on the map to give a general idea, without leaving it open to scripting, then I think that's a good idea too.

I like the arrow indicator idea.

 

I also like to see another indicator which informs the player whether or not the titan is within a 5-square radius of the player's current position.

 

With these additions, all the client browser needs to know is the general direction (up, down, left, right) and the proximity of the titan from the player (within your radius, outside your radius) and not the actual coordinates of the titan.

 

5 is an example and can be adjusted as necessary.

i still like my idea of making it flash onto the screen every so often - either by randomness or possibly when its being killed -as it is now teleport is useless on this titan - i think hcs needs to lose the u cannot move more than 1 square thing -as all its doing is causing lag and rubber banding - with teleport now available this function is obsolete 

 

i noticed no one commented on lowering the tkp needed for claim to say like 9k like  i suggested - if anyone has hunted this titan then you know how hard it is and 12k tkp is crazy high for the effort and time required to even slightly hunt this titan as it currently is

Titan Immovilize is pending. 

 

Zero need for an arrow identification or TKP reduction. 

 

In my opinion, this is currently the most difficult Titan to hunt. 

 

Personally, I like that Teleport is "useless" here... and btw, I think that's not necessarily true.

 

Scripts, I'm not sure about. It was said that this idea was implemented to block that. I'm not sure that I believe that. Rather I think that this is an example of making Titan Hunting what it was meant to be: a Guild effort. 

 

Getting rid of absolutely all scripts is definitely something I'd hope HCS would work on. I'm anti-FSH and use it. There is a no-cost development issue there. It's a shame. 

 

But to stay on topic... so far my response to everything here is simple: Don't hunt it. 

 

If you really believe it's not worth the effort... don't do it. Personally, I'd love to see the day when a Guild suddenly doesn't stop at 51%.

But do you see yourself or others using the epics that these enhancements are on for titan hunting or just hunting in general? Btw 2 seconds is a lot, giving the fact that the structure takes a bit out of the time you have to wait

with most 1200 or higher titans requiring good set-ups to 1 hit and have enough defense to avoid a counter hit (thus saving you time from having to get SSI recast on you) ... I doubt it will be used.  A better use of temporal shift would be to include it on invented LE gear for level 2500 or higher.

 

I could see using snowman rune, invader boots, or catseye ring for temporal shift boost on sub 1000 titans since stam gain set-up is often good enough to 1 hit and stop a counter hit.

clean up on this titan is crazy - its like going for se crystal medal in 1 sitting / its been out for days now and still not dead yet its a high value item and still rare - but taking all this into consideration with it being probably the hardest titan to hunt it has a +10 temporal -yet other high lvl seasonal titans have the same +10

I have not been on enough to know much about this titan. I was wondering if players hunting this titan can give some advice on locations that this titan hides and what works the best to locate this titan. I am thinking of giving this titan a toss so to speak thanks.  :)

 

Never mind the hunting of this titan is a real challenge thank you for the challenge hcs and having a titan hard to get is good to keep interest in trying to find this titan lol.

I think the "invisible" titan is a good idea from HCS :)

 

the Invader Boots lvl 650 now have +3 stam gain per hour, same as the Dragon Draped Sabatons lvl 1101 which are worth about 150 - 170 FSPs!!!

 

I hope to see more of these kinda titans in the future too

 

to increase the hunting of these "invisible" titans, introduce a lil bit better stam gain to encourage, for example:

armor +4 (dragon drapped breastplate has +3)

gloves +3 (many titan gloves have +2)

.......


3 players on iggy (1 troll & 2 players whose posts never make any sense)

@matt2269f  I am for this titan and love the challenge it is good to see other players looking for this titan and yes teleport is not helpful is bonus to this titan.  I believe it should be left as is on the grid for those players that want to hunt it alone or in a guild the challenge is there and hard to get the solo. 

 

I am not sure about upgrading the boots since I like the stats that are offered and anything that helps teleport  should not be easy to get a hold of solo. 

 

Thank you hcs for this titan and please add this invisible titan style to other such monsters in the game. I think this could work on SE or some special quest event for the season.  Imagine using invisible style hit on a grid and have titan or some other monster like se move to another grid all together could be interesting.  :ph34r:

SE and elite already are invisible! And they already move as soon as they are killed once! Indeed, SEs can move to another realm and not just another square within one realm.

I know se are invisible but to have them jump around from different grids would be more fun. Many do not move from their grids. I do like the process of the invisible titan hcs and hope you come up with more ways to keep things interesting.
